Duke is clean as is Kentucky. Zion and all those 5 stars signed by blue bloods turn down very lucrative offers by LSU to play for free at Kentucky or duke.

He was able to get Zion, Barrett and Reddish all for a scholly and playing time, right? IF Wade was really paying the amounts that Dawkins was telling Sean Miller about, it seems like he would be able to get a couple more players like that.

Wrong. Those kids have good moral fiber and rejected Coach Wade’s offers to play for free elsewhere.

Don’t forget about Marvin Bagley, his family went from staring at bankruptcy to living in a 2 million dollar home after he signed with Duke and Coach K. But you’re right, the dollar amounts don’t make sense and the actual accused logistics of the transaction makes no sense either. In other words if what Wade is accused of did happen it would’ve been immediately and easily caught.

That’s what I’ve been told by people within the program as well. Coach Wade thought he had a couple guys last year but lost out when the other schools showed the prospects how great the parking is and once the English professors got involved it was over.

I'm really speaking to the idea that anything Dawkins is telling Miller doesn't really hold water. Mainly because of what's already been said here along with the fact that on the same wiretap Dawkins is intrstructing other coaches to lie about dollar amounts to drive the price up. What's stopping him from doing the same with Miller when discussing Wade?

Coaches aren’t sending bag men to drop off tractors at Ricky Roe’s farm, that’s not how this works now days. The shoe companies who already have relationships with the schools and the incoming players facilitate these payments 95% of the time so that the principal subjects are clear of wrongdoing unless a breakdown occurs like with Louisville. Clowns like China or Lester receive the entirety of their education via TV and the like which is why stuff like this appeals to them and they see it like a child would.

Wade was offering a really strong offer and he thought he had the kid im referring to. Everything was in place, family was taken care of, etc.
Then the night before he’s supposed to sign, the other schools entire fricking English Dept faculty gets on skype and just blows the kid away. I’m talking dangling participles, verb conjugations, comma splices...the whole bit.
Next morning the kid calls Wade and tells him he’s not coming.
Wade was pissed.
