all they would have to really do is admit their mistake, put up a better looking facade and take the bars off of the windows. if the issue is sunlight then just tint the hell out of the windows.

I have no problem with what they are doing, but you do speak the truth. The west side was nice as it was, why not spruce up the eastside? or as stated the interior? Why can't we get the "Welcome to Death Valley" sign back on the upperdeck facade?

And it doesn't really matter what the east side looks like because it's right up against other buildings and there's not much room to put stuff there.

Nothing says "big time program" like a chain link fence. I just can't believe it took 6 years for something like this to happen. Better late than never, though.

The thing I can't figure out that LSU won't do is have the stadium painted one uniform color. The new marine gray paint they used to update the North End Zone has made that along with new windows look like a brand new section of the stadium. Why not use the same color over the entire stadium externally?? 
If they did then Tiger Stadium would look as good as any stadium in America from an external view. They could use the same color and paint over that Terra coda crappy looking facade on the West side!!!

That's really going to look nice. I'm not a big fan of Joe Alleva but he has done a lot to clean up the Old Lady.

Not sure if It applies but I drove by south stadium and they have removed the first 2 or 3 oak trees closest to the west side of the stadium. Looks like there getting ready for construction of the south endzone.

Goddam I still don't understand why they can't remove the bars from the windows on the West Side. It makes it look like a building in Kandahar.

I was there today and if it's ready in time, it'll be a small miracle. But the North endzone looks great!
