I've actually been researching this. These guys (and others) represented the Lee Clothing Company. I have found ads for the signing events in old newspaper archives. There were also postcard-sized cards of both Johnny and Billy that were made to be signed at these events. I am looking for those cards to add to my collection, if you know of any.
Thanks, Todd

Shitload of Nocona boots back there!
The Chiefs only played 3-4 years in Dallas before moving to KC, so that's very early 60's. Nice pics.

I once had a photo of Cannon, Robinson and two other Tigers. Cannon and Robinson signed their autograph picture they provided as part of a statewide tour. I was standing next to him. Pretty sure Dietzel was there as well. Think perhaps Roy Winston and Larry Kahlden or Max Fugler may have been the other two. Memory not so great, but I remember the excitement of a 12 year old peewee football seeing these "heros".
They arrived in a bus as I recall. It was inside Weil's(?) department store in downtown Jennings. Photo shot by my dad's "Brownie" camera for those of you old enough to remember this very popular Kodak camera.
Lost all of my memorabilia from those times...I was 12.
