If Donte Jackson went in the 2nd round and is having success in the nfl then Vincent definitely will get drafted
They are the same player
They are the same player

Very surprising. He’s obviously got elite speed but his coverage ability is average. He’s constantly out of position and having to play catch up with his guy. Really not understanding this decision because his film is not day 1 or day 2 worthy.

Being fast is the only thing they share. Donte Jackson’s coverage skills were lightyears ahead of where Vincent is.

Donte was a good corner but took bad angles when trying to tackle Vincent just doesn't have the hips to cover at the line for a corner. You watched Vincent last year that mofo played 10 yards off his guy at the line and used his speed to close when the ball was in the air. Fwiw Donte has learned how to play corner at the next level now and is already becoming a stud i just don't see it with Kary Vincent.

You will never hear his name again.

Whoever is urging him to do this is costing him a lot of money! Terrible decision! If he had a good year this year he could have improved his stock drastically. He will now be a middle to late round pick

Damn who will step up to fill his shoes to miss every tackle in the flat this season?
Posted on 8/17/20 at 2:17 pm to SemiNoblePursuit
He will be missed more than many think. He had a penchant for big plays (as well as giving them up too) and was a versatile player that could play nickel and free safety. I thought he was better at FS honestly. This helps Ricks and Todd Harris the most I would guess with Flott now most likely the nickel.

Can someone make a Kary Vincent missed tackle compilation from 2019? Tia

Correct. Now apply that same logic to a hypothetical "spring season". No elite players would ever be stupid enough to play in April.
I take this as basically him saying "there isn't going to be a fall season".
Agree

Interesting decision. He probably should've just left early this past year.

I honestly don't understand this move at all but best of luck to him.
It's NOT normal, we might not even get one, and if we do, it's likely a week-by-week process with experimental safety procedures changed on the fly.
He probably stepped back, looked at everything, and decided to work out and prepare for 2021 instead of playing with this craziness.

I think this is Kary Vincent deciding he doesn't want to get moved to safety when he's been projecting at corner his whole career, plus you just got passed by another youngster.
May have been his best option long term.

If you return to improve your draft stock, you were planning on returning to a normal setup, not some weird shite like we have this season.

Maybe Jordan Toles came in and is turning heads and pushing Vincent

Maybe he was about to be passed up as the starter?

Yep, pretty sad imo opinion and he wasn't the only player. The only other ones I know about are gone now. Selling for 10-11k for the set.
Eta,
KV, being the only underclassmen/ staying player i know did makes this not as surprising that he opts out to me. Don't agree with any of it, in fact.
I know its a decision he will unbelievably regret in the very near future.
