We’ve lost our best offensive player and we should know why. That’s my position.

What exactly does this have to do with criticizing a player for poor effort? I don’t understand what point you are trying to make here.

Being critical is fine but people are out of control with this. Death threats, saying he should be tortured, saying he should quit or be cut, calling him a POS when the percentage of tiger fans that are crappy people far outweighs the percentage of tiger players that are crappy people

And that’s not how I heard about it.

Well, at some point potential must be fulfilled. Someone can have all the potential in the world, but if it isn't fulfilled, whether by choice or unfortunate circumstances, the potential will no longer matter.

So how did you hear about it? Why are you being so coy?

This is why ignorance is king on the Rant. It’s mob mentality and any critical thinking gets shouted down. It’s supposed to be a discussion board but it’s a mob narrative board instead.

I don’t care about his attitude. Just catch the ball

So you don't care about his attitude towards his teammates and coaching staff?

His bad attitude is what lead to the dropped balls and not making an effort to turn around at the goal line.

You’re completely right but this is a 200+ post thread so apparently people care about this. Since that’s the case why not figure out what went wrong instead of having a circle jerk over character assassination?

Boutte has become the boogie man on tRant and it’s sad.

If you think he’s the problem and they’re better without him, I don’t know what to say. You win.

Being on the wrong page with your new QB is not an attitude problem, but you people will read into everything.

This isn't new. Boutte has been having entitlement issues.

Hold up, he just didn’t think the ball was coming. There’s no evidence of poor attitude there. He was bracketed and if the safety does his job for FSU that’s a pick. Now you should always be ready for the ball but you guys acting like he didn’t look because he was being a baby is incorrect in this case.

Tell us about how well you know him. I’ll wait.

Do you really think he let a TD go by just to pout then pouted about not getting the ball enough later? That doesn’t make sense.

It was his interaction with JD immediately after that, which had me concerned. It's not unusual for a QB and receiver not to be on the same page. Again, that could just be optics. Maybe they spoke after that. TV doesn't tell the whole story. But as I said before, perception tends to become reality when instances keep occurring.

Most things don’t on this topic. He’s become the scapegoat.

No I think you’re 100% on that and right over the target for why he hit his breaking point.

Ok.

Can’t argue with that logic. Thanks for your insight.
