No. But that doesn't relate at all to what we are talking about.

i think it would tell the guys who are behind him to start working harder
Right. You dont think Keiland got the message?

that seriously happens all the time
without pulling strings, people get promoted because they generate business for firms.
9 times out of 10 the harder worker generates more money for whatever business they are in.
you have a lot to learn. I realize you are fresh at your job...maybe down the road you'll see what I am talking about.

if i had a company i'd promote the guy who was best for my company, which would almost assuredly be the guy who made my company the most money

there are hard workers who can make money
but there are a lot of hard workers who have the social intelligence/charm of a dead turtle and have no real promotion prospects
there are some fields that require both to really get ahead. sports/entertainment agents come to mind. hell most things involving the business side of sports and entertainment fall into this category

misslou and Psycho, you all correct, I made a similar post and that's the problem. I am wrong and I did not make that post.

Nice. But the question is Egg... do you bring your own food to work, cook it in the common microwave, and then does the smell linger in the break room for over an hour after you're done with it?
ETA: And I've had a bad enough day already to not worry about the 666 curse.

you're right
let's say i'm going for a job against a person who works a lot harder than me but i have a better gpa, and i get the job. i don't think that's wrong, and that happens all the time

i'm basing my knowledge off what a lot of corporate lawyers told me. many of whom are the guys who worked hard, didn't be promoted, and ended up quitting as a result. i'm actually not in that kind of position at the moment.

ok this is my whole point, but ill spell it out:
so 2 guys making the company the same amount of money
who should get the promotion first:
hard worker
half asser

Does the half asser run a sub 4.4?

in that situation, the hard worker
but i'm assuming that keiland will have the most net positive effect as a RB on the team. if he doesn't, then no, he doesn't deserve to start. and i've said that charles scott may be the guy to be the most positive back
but i strongly believe KW and Scott were our 2 best backs LAST year

Trindon Holliday does. I wouldn't call him a half asser though.

My point being that KW likely will (if he doesn't already) run a sub 4.4.

Maybe.. Still the fact remains that both Scott & Holliday both have better yards per carry average than KW in both 2006 & 2007.

First off, Holliday is not a "runningback."
Secondly, KW has averaged 6.5 ypc over about 150 carries. Scott's sampling size is a good bit smaller (he has more than 50 fewer carries over that time if I remember correctly).
By your reasoning, Hester must have really sucked.

where's the link that says KW doesn't know his assignments?
Go back about a hundred and fifty pages, someone quoted one of the coaches as saying that KW often ran to the wrong hole. Who thinks football requires a high IQ?
Since you mentioned intelligence, are you implying the lack of was the reason he went to Hargrave?

He went to Hargrave because of his age.
