Maybe it's b/c we want to use more than one tailback.

Yes it is. Could you re-tell your story about how Alley Broussard "Quit the team 3 times" again?

I agree. I believe that all of our tailbacks possess their own style. So, depending on the situation, I think we can use each and every one to our advantage. Don't get me wrong. I too feel at times that when KW would bust out on an explosive TD run only to get benched the next possession should be heavily looked into. Just like with the Charles Scott situation during the Kentucky game. Otherwise, I support LSU.

who cares who is named starter or not!!! It will be earned on the field!! Les has proven that over his 2 years at LSU- you earn it... same goes for every other position.. so who gives a rats f... who is NAMED starters!!!!!

why didn't Peyton Hillis get 25 carries a game versus 5 or 6 each for McFadden and Felix?

should we just have these guys meet the team at the stadium on Saturdays, suit up and start pitching them the rock?

you are correct. Against Kentucky, Scott's two long TDs earned him no playing time in the 2nd half. Against Auburn, William's swing pass into a TD earned him no playing time in the 2nd half.
All that Les has proven is that if you gain more than 10 yards and score a TD, you won't play the rest of the game because he'd rather give the ball to a FB who will get 3 yards running into people.

Maybe for the same reason that Nutt decided to start passing on Arkansas' last series of the 2006 game.

there have been plenty of teams who won with non-leader RBs
hell teams based around leadership from the RBs are really rare. like really rare

Hillis had seniority, McFadden stayed in the police blotter. You're probably right. I think Nutt based the carries off of leadership.
