I mean, he brought in one of our better relievers after Evans, and that dude gave up a homer too. He's also trying to navigate a shitty pitching staff that has to pitch 3 games while missing probably our best starter

He got shelled the previous inning. Fastball was down 6mph and he was at 100 pitches. Giving them a different look would’ve been a better choice. Don’t back Jay’s dumbass decision to put this team in a hole who also can’t hit.
We have middle of the SEC starting pitching, bottom of the SEC relievers. There is no good call. Especially when you have to figure out how to have enough arms to go 3 games with an injured starter, and try to win 2 of those.

This team feels like they're not even going to make the postseason. Jay should be sick for the transfers he brought in and a lot of the decisions he's made this year. It's been messed up from the top down.
He can be mad at the players all he wants, but then he does something like bring Evans back out when it's clear to everyone he was toast.
my guess is if our Saturday night guy wasn't hurt for the year, he probably would've pulled Evans earlier. That and/or if anyone else on our staff could pitch better than Evans.
