Coach Cal made it to the NIT with this roster 
Nerleans Noel, Willie Cauley-Stein, Alex Poythreess, Kyle Wiljier, Archie Goodwin, and he still couldn't make the tourney lol

They are vehemently blasting LSU lately which is the first sign that they know LSU will compete this year.
I do think we should temper expectations though. It's November. Gonna be a fun year, but let's not pull the scissors out just yet

Simmons passing ability is unreal. Funny how the UK fans in the OP say to make him shoot jumpers. He seems to be a pass first player. You're not going to force a player like that into taking bad jump shots. He will make players around him better.

You read one or two posts and it's all fans. Simmons is a awesome, and a huge majority of fans at UK will do as they always do and cheer good basketball players and play at Rupp regardless of score etc... It's been recounted over and over and over how our fans gush on great basketball players from other schools.

If you follow LSU football, you can relate exactly to why he's posting on this thread. Cal has an embarrassment of riches on the court and in terms of facilities and budget, every advantage possible, yet every time he's on a big stage against a plus strategist he is exposed. Whether that is Bo Ryan, Bill Self, Bob Huggins, Mike Brey, whoever is coaching UConn, the dude at Robert Morris, etc, etc.
