who the frick is Krysan?

Tommy Krysan is an old washed-up former radio personality here in Baton Rouge. He has moved on to bigger and better things, like being the SLU play-by-play guy for football and baseball (If he's still doing that...), and failed sports shows on the public access cable channels.

north carolina, mississippi state west virginia, alabama, florida, arkansas, auburn are all capable of beating LSU. especially if LSU comes out flat, makes mental errors, or has a few turnovers.

I think when Dixon left for the NFL, MSU lost the best thing that ever happened to them.

We win convincingly this yr.

People should focus on the UNC game, insofar as the program is concerned.
If we lose that game, Les loses whatever control he still has over the fan base, absent an apppearance in the SECCG, or something just short of it.
A loss in that game, and IT WILL BE A LONG SEASON....

I'll go further: LSU will burst the MSU bubble early and win in the neighborhood of 41-14.

right, so until then let's all just blindly assume that everyone on our schedule improved immensley in the offseason while we have at best made no improvement or are significantly worse.

State only has one good receiver and their qb isn't going to do to well against our elite secondary. They can run the ball okay, but it's going to be extremely difficult on Saturday night in tiger stadium.

I was worried about state but I've been reading a lot about them on sec rant and I just don't think they can beat us this year. They should get to a bowl though

I don't think I'd leave Ole Miss or Tennessee off that list, either.

So it'll be 5 games in with games against UNC and WVU (whom you've already said could easily beat LSU) before we'll know if LSU is better? Gotcha .....dumbass

Of course. I've been saying that for months. Being undefeated going into the Florida game won't mean squat, just like it didn't mean squat last year or the year before. Yes, UNC, WVU and Tennessee could all beat us, but beating all three would not be a surprise (I had all three as more than 50% likely wins in my probability predictions).

This team can't prove anything good about itself until it gets to Gainesville. Lose before then, especially more than once, and it can prove something bad, though.

I'm not going to do the research, but I wonder what the percentage of college football teams in the last few decades is that lost more than half their starters from the previous year and actually improved their record from the previous year, or even kept it the same. I'd bet it's less than 10%. In the SEC, I'd bet it's closer to 1%. Maybe we'll be that rare exception, though, right?
