Welter, like loston, is a liability on the field. This doesn't have anything to do with anything other than poor play.

I have been looking forward to Lamar since we got him.
However, im going to give y'all a taste of realism. Do not expect him to come out playing all world. Welter was the starter for a reason. I'm so glad he's not anymore but that reason was because nobody else had stepped up at the time.
I'm not saying Lewis will suck. Who knows. Just saying the loyalty angle y'all are playing is drastically exaggerated.
This is comin from a notorious "pumper" so don't take this as being negative towards our players. The simple fact Is that this fanbase likes to immortalized the guy they think should be playing. To a point where he could start in the NFL right now. Sometimes the players surprise us when they get the chance (in which y'all think y'all knew what was best all along). But there's a reason that they weren't starting. Lots of young LBs here who needed to learn the system.
Having said all of that, I think LL will be great. Hell of a game for a first start.

Totally agree but unless he busts almost every play how much worse can he be. I mean I don't think I ever saw Welter fill a hole and stop a back in his tracks. The kid just doesn't have the physical tools.
