The comparison is not the situations. The comparison is how both coaches let the clock get away from them. Almost like they weren't paying attention.

So was it good clock managment by chizik? Or is he excused because where he started the drive?

Look we all know what happened at the lsu game and we are all unhappy about it. But the lack of clock awareness is VERY comparable.

Yea it was pretty bad clock management. They only got like 4 plays off with over a minute left and 1 timeout. It's a pretty good comparison.

TY...my point exactly. It was bad management.

For all of Les' pluses (recruiting...ditching the co-defensive coordinators last year), he's ALWAYS sucked at clock management. Until last weeks' complete debacle, it just wasn't on the national radar.

The end of the Iron Bowl was vintage Miles-esk clock management...bad...but not Gawd Awful enough to cause the whole NCAA universe to say...WTF?

This statement (sic) is true, but it doesn't mean he's qualified to the LSU's coach. You see, we have the want for the the best coach, a coach who we can trust to earn his $3.8M and have the respect of his opponents.
