Yeah, Why can't we be more like those that jump into every thread crushing any positivity (which there has been a lot positive lately) by saying they aren't getting excited until LSU beats Bama?
That seems like a horrible way of being a fan.
But please continue to call those out who are excited for the season
I'm more excited for next season than I have been in a while. I'm only in this thread to demonstrate to the ancient fart jackass Gray that when people stress the importance of beating Alabama, it's because they are the elephant in the room stopping us from what the team, coaches, and fanbase want.
I only bring you up because you two have this freakish obsession when whining about LSU fans just as much, if not more, as fans ranting about our offensive struggles. You two should just send e-mails back and forth and you can bitch about LSU fans as long as your heart desires. That'd make more sense than doing it on a sports message board...one called Tiger Rant of all things.
I know you see the guy bringing up beating Alabama and will point to that as bringing "unneeded negativity" to a positive thread, but this is what happens. The farther away from football season and deeper into preseason you get, the infuriation with our offense begins to fade away and it's all sunshine and daisies. Maybe back in the day I'd ask that guy why would even bring Alabama up in this thread. But after watching that abortion of what we trot out on the field. After watching that embarrassing sequence by the Ole Miss goal line. Our offense and Les should be called out. And it's okay if it is. I guarantee to you and Gray, Les will not read this board.

My approach is more like wow-this-offense-is-embarrassing. But I get over it fairly quickly
I know you can't bring yourself to criticize the offense. That'd go against your whole little schtick you've made for yourself on this board. You probably do get a little mad when you're around your grandkids watching the game irl though. Too bad you gotta keep your lemme-bitch-about-anonymous-posters-and-make-sure-not-to-say-anything-mean-about-the-coaches persona going on here.
Keep fighting the good fight, grandpa

Abruptly change the script?
Yes, as in he's changed play scripts hours before Bama games that the team has worked on for weeks because he turns into Coach Klein. He has changed calls sent down from the booth. Why do you think we had so many delay of game, false start penalties.
quote:
Is that about right?
Well, a non-coach staff member had to call multiple timeouts for him just last season.
I, like everyone else, wants to see this team succeed. I just hope Les can get out of his own way.

How does calling names and referring to my age bolster your argument?

Which scares you to the point that the rest of the season is meaningless?

Using that stream of "logic" why don't all of you that come here day in and day out posting the same tired old stuff do the same? Fair is fair.

. Our offense and Les should be called out.
Which hasn't been done before? Which you personally haven't done previously? What new do you have to offer?
And if Les and the offense is fair game to be called out, why not you? What makes the critics immune from criticism?

You have seen the game plan?
When?
How?
What changes were made?
Why?
He has changed calls sent down from the booth
Which no other coaches do? They you DO want him just to stand by and be a spectator and not be able to react to what is happening in the game.

Each and every one is the fault of Les Miles?
How did you come by this information?

Who?
When?
Under what circumstances?

And do what?
Stand there?
Forget that he is the head coach?

I'm just pumped that they have to try and beat Aranda's defense in practice and scrimmage.
Will definitely make them better...
Will definitely make them better...

We've specifically worked on the passing game in the Spring at least 5 times since Les has been here.

You do have this age thing going don't you?
How does it prove your point?
Speaking of continuing a bitch thing.......................

It might increase our chances of winning exponentially.

He's right. During the last two spring practices the ball was thrown all over the place. The real season is a different story. We'll see.

This fan base is pathetically and embarrassingly obsessed with bama. Not sure how some of you sleep at night with your Bama fear
If we don't beat Bama, we don't win the West, simple as that. I also have doubts that we'd get a playoff spot if we didn't win our own division as well.
Hoping that even if we lose to Bama, that somebody else knocks them off, is not going to cut it. We are just not that lucky and Bama seemingly is.

In all honesty I've never seen Miles talk about seriously making changes. He always says it's not the offense it's the execution. He's said in the past he wants to throw it better but from the same old offense. Now he's finally saying that he has to make some changes in philosophy because what's they've been doing isn't completely the answer, and better use the talent he has on the roster. Think that's pretty big. Interested to see what they do.
Yes this is what I get from this, but still, I'll wait and see before I get excited.

I'll believe it when I see it. It took damn near getting fired for this man to change his stubborn ways.
