Yes, first year in the Big Ten went 12-0. Beat Ohio State (63-14), USC (38-14), Michigan (31-24), Iowa (61-21).

Actually, Bowden wasn't on the list. They said there was a time when the list would have started with Bowden but not at this time. The list was Carrol, Stoops, Myer, Brown and Miles. They all picked Carrol and Myer.
