You don’t need to convince me of his screw ups, I agree on all counts. But all I’m saying is that he’s still here now, if the football and basketball teams are on the upswing.. it could get weird

While Les has impressed me with his acumen for contract negotiations, I would prefer an English speaker in the AD position

I don't see how he could possibly be worse than what we have now and we are paying him already.

STFU! Leave Les where he's at...we had enough of him and excuse the pun but, less is more for the TIGERS!

I freely admit to a man crush on Les.
He's an extremely high quality human being!
He was a great coach in his day.
He loves and is loyal to LSU.
But as AD, his first two choices to replace O would be Cam or the Chief.
Who's your favorite?

You guys don't see the wisdom in this. I think Les when he started at LSU as a HC, he coached all out. Trick plays, took good chances, but overall he was an Average HC and ultimately we have had so much talent over the many years that we should have at least 2 more championships since 2007. But Les became complacent, and was always stubborn, like in the 2011 Championship game when J. Jefferson our QB had obviously been drinking the night before, and who team leaders and players wanted to let Jaret Lee, a QB that led us to big wins in Jefferson's absence, play in the 2nd half and see if he could do better. If nothing else he deserved a chance with Jefferson just not getting it done.
But Miles pride got in the way of that as he stated to all the players and assistant coaches that this is my team and I will make that call, even if it meant him winning his power trip but losing the game. Oh and btw with Jefferson in the game CLM obviously had the same exact game plan for when we beat Alabama on their home field. Way too predictable.
Then Miles, became so predictable and way too conservative.
BUT, imagine having an ex-player, ex-coach in the AD spot instead of someone like Alleva. Miles conservativeness would work greatly in running the day to day operations and finances.
BUT, if CLM ever denied something that the team needed just because of his pride, he would be out the door.
However, I think he truly loves LSU and the State of Louisiana. He still lives in Baton Rouge. I don't know of a better place to be than 50-60 miles West of New Orleans and East of Lafayette, and all the many smaller towns that have great football and food traditions.

Ceaux this could be the greatest thread ever. Who cares about out athletics. More than him. I'm all in

Most AD's are financial guys for a reason. While I love Les, this isn't a job for him.
