Frick you. Because we provide his paycheck by buying tickets, they arent providing some service to society that noone can survive without.without fans they dont have shite.

Given that LSU athletics made more money from donations than it did from revenue in 2010, perhaps the players should stay out of this. This team isn't a simple mixture of players and coaches.
LSU is what it is today thank to decades of tradition, sold out games, tailgating and donations. Without the hundreds of millions of dollars that have been given to LSU from donors, or the hundreds of millions of dollars that these 'ignorant' fans have contributed since before this current teams players' parents were even born, LSU wouldn't be a top 25 team. There would be no 3+ million dollars to LSU HC position. There wouldn't be the training facilities worth 10s of millions of dollars. There wouldn't be sponsors providing these players with free shoes, clothes, etc.
Simply put -- LSU is a product of Louisiana. These kids that are here now will merely be fans themselves in a few years. It isn't "their" team but a great honor and a great vehicle that they temporarily have the keys for. Unfortunately, this narrative that would suggest that LSU fans are out to get some of these players is rediculous. I disagree with the booing, but those fans could have been mad about many things that have been mentioned. This state is about tradition - and traditionally - no one player is above the rules. I don't think JJ should have played this week on principle. At the end of the day, Les Miles is not the one treating his players equally.

Yeah, all that shite you said. Still isn't an excuse for booing. They can do it all they want, and the players don't own them a damn thing. If not for the players, they wouldn't have one more way to spend their money.

I can promise you that there are plenty of good players that would gladly keep their mouth shut if it meant they could play for LSU. Without these players now, we would have maybe a couple bad seasons before we were reloaded. I already stated that booing is bad -- but these players aren't more important than the university, or the fans. These fans have been watching LSU and spending entire paychecks on LSU football tickets/ tailgating/ etc for years.
