I feel good about him. I think He'll turn it around. We'll have Shep and JJ. We have all spring and summer to practice. We'll be back.

Really? Well maybe not but they sure feel that the world is coming to an end. One bad season and it is like Miles forgot how to coach!
By reading some of your posts, you might be a resonable person.
All I am saying is give the guy a break. See what he is going to do and if he does not right the ship then he makes his own bed and should be held accountable.
The way most of these little pansies are crying you would think we were 0'fer. I didn't like the season any better than the next guy, but all this crying is pathetic.
Oh, we didn't have Barbie's at my house. Maybe that is why I can't find my sensitive side.

With coaching changes and Shep. coming in?? Might buy him another year

I beleive that this game will be important in terms of building momentum into the 2009 season. A loss would not be a good way to start off the 2009 campaign.
I would love to see a good performance with no interceptions and solid defense. A win would be nice too.
I ordered my tickets this evening.

Well we will start yet again 4-0 then we will see how well he can get the guys going!
Although that second game against Vandy will be a tricky one! Our Home Field adv. isn't what it was a year ago!
WE MUST WIN THIS BOWL GAME to build on some confidence heading into next year!
So I say let's not get too hyped about another 4-0 start until week 8 and hoping we aren't 4-3!!!

I still believe in our head coach. I think that he was just trying to give his buddies a chance by promoting them to Co-DC's and he thought it was the right thing to do at the time. I 100% respect him for doing what he did when he got rid of RP, and I know that we will be fine from here on out with Coach Lesticles at the wheel.

well, you were the only one coming in to this post blowing your lid...everyone else was responding rationally...JUST SAYIN...Ooooo...ooooo.....I can do that tooooo
I think Miles' main problem falls in decision making! It just takes him too long to do so. If he waits too long to fire the DCs, and we lose the chance of pulling ONE quality one in, I WILL jump ship!

THIS JUST IN:
it took 4 very huge frickups before Miles "let" Perrilloux go! And, I am still convinced that Miles was forced to "dismiss" him from the team...HAVE A GREAT DAY!

You're an Idiot.
And I wouldn't call his screw ups HUGE....
I'm sure there are a bunch of coaches that would have let that shite slide just to try and have a better season. Oh, and what were those 4 screw ups again?
Posted on 12/7/08 at 9:22 pm to Geauxtigrs04
the first one occured before he was even recruited...the second one being the fight in a bar over his pregnant girlfriend (why the frick do you bring your pregnant GF to a bar...asking for trouble), the third was the two weeks of skipped practice and class b/c his biological father who he had only seen once passed away (he was raised by his stepfather) this one being the one that should have gotten him tossed from the team!!!, and the last one (need I give the details)...
And still, Miles didn't want to let him go
What did this portray to the rest of the players on the team...or recruits for that matter??? YOu tell me!
And still, Miles didn't want to let him go

Don't let the door hit you in your arse. It must really suck to look in the mirror everyone morning!!!
Why don't you just leave now and go show your lack of support for some other team. It is obvious that you never played anything but pocket pool. If you had, you might have a greater appreciation for the game, coaching, and what it means to support a team even in bad times.

it took a lot of guts to get rid of RP and with him any chance for having a chance for another run. He knew before anyone on here what we would be left with at the QB position. I don't think there are a lot of coaches out there who would have done the same, at least not in the SEC. Still you want to give him crap for it? Most people on here were applauding him at the time for getting rid of RP.
