Taking off your P&G glasses, people would say Nick Saban is better than Les Miles.
No need to go any further. You are stupid. Now go to tuscaloser and beg nick the midget to let you take warm showers with him.

Another "internet badass" The above statement proves you are a pimple faced kid who would never, ever say anything resembling the above to anyone for fear of being bitch slapped.

Recruiting - Saban (Though Les is very good)
Assembling a staff - Miles
X's and O's - Saban
Adjustments - Saban
Prep for NFL - Saban
Bowl prep - Miles
Overall, I think Nick is the better coach. Miles is more of a boss than a coach. If Saban were to lose a coordinator, I'd feel confident in him running a team, especially defensively. I don't think I can say the same about Les.

Go chug a gallon of Clorox on your drive to Tuscaloosa to get Nick's autograph.

He chose Bama because they had the only vacancy, not because of any "winningest record in the SEC."

In OT against a team with a seriously struggling freshman quarterback. How well did Nick do when Matt Mauck went down in '02? How well did he do w/Randall and Russell in '05?

I don't really agree with some of your stuff. I don't think saban is a better recruit. If you look at how the players miles has recruited rank in comparison to what saban has recruited miles is ahead. I also don't think saban is as good at adjustments as miles is. Just my opinion. Just from looking at saban's record while at LSU, there were a lot of years where saban just had a mediocre year, the problem was, LSU had been bad for so long that those years were seen as really good years. But when miles got here, all of a sudden, people expected perfect years, even though saban only got close to that mark 1 time. EVery other year it was at least 3 losses. I think that miles gets absolutely no respect for the resume he has built while at LSU. He has put numerous good players in the NFL regardless of who recruited them, he still coached them. he is a very VERY good coach.

wow, this thread really blew up.
Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned.
I am reminded of this every time I see fans spewing vitriol over a coach/player leaving.
it happens. it's business.

How in the world can you blame Miles for a "downhill" season when he had to deal with the whole quarterback mess? I’m personally thankful that we had Les to guide us through a season that could have been a lot worse.

LM only lost 6 games total in his first 3- year at LSU.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
my man, you know he took over a program loaded down with talent, why do folks always over look that, that is all I'm sayin.
Dude, this will never be talked about. here are some facts.
Alabama lost to Utah---big fing whoop
Alabama "blew" the UF game--UF was pretty good last year.
Alabam lost JPW--boy, you folks give him way too much cred.
More facts
Bama won 12 games with a team that should have won 7. Besides Julio, show me any player LSU recruited that started for Bama last year. Exactly. These were Shula guys who couldnt stick their finger you know where until Saban demanded them to play.
ULM beat us--Do you really believe ULMN was better? Again, Shula's non-disciplined, couldnt care less players. The final fumble came from a Shula recruit who was trafficking coke by the way. DJ Hall, the "great" WR said in a radio interview that he wished he had listened to Saban and been more motivated to play and not rejected his style. Openly admited he didnt work as hard as he could have. Those Shula good ole boys are getting thin on the roster. Bad news for everybody on our schedule.
Bama has inexperience at QB-What about LSU 2007? Who was that "inexperienced" QB that lead LSU to the NC? Hint, he replaced a FIRST ROUND draft pick from 2006, anybody, anybody??? Yes, its FACT. He had played very little.
Finally, comparing coaches here. Saban came to both schols when they were shite. period. Couldnt beat State. Turned both around. Miles inherited a damn strong team that was stocked. he coached them well. The talent wasnt as good last year. Whoever follows Saban will inherit great players. Saban will get some credit. It will then begin to dwindle.
Biggest point--when is LSU going to get over this? C'mon guys, it happened. u really need to move on to other things. Find some hobbies and get behind LSU. Support LSU, not run down Bama. It really shows the jealousy that consumes you.

goodluck to you because you are dealing with more retarded motherfrickers on here than you can imagine, they refuse to give credit where credit is due, they are so onesided it's not even funny, but I'll laugh anyway
