Remedial reading?
Yes, it was me, Chris Jackson, Stanley, and some girl from Lafayette. Took the class in the basement of Allen Hall.... I believe that was the name. It was a Pass or Fail class. We all passed.

A lot of people consider Ali to be the greatest boxer of all time, but he in his prime couldn't beat today's Klitchko.
I'm gonna give you the benefit of the doubt and assume that you mean both Klitchkos at the same time.

You had ONE job, Bill!
Two.... remember a BW interview about Shaq and he was saying how he had been talking to get Shaq about wearing knee pads to protect his knees from getting injured due to banging under the boards.

I like how in the old days we were referred to Louisiana State more than LSU

In college and his years in Orlando shaq was light and in shape. A 7 footer that could run the floor and played with just as much energy with 2 minutes left as at the tip was awesome.
The extra weight helped him for a few years but he couldn't get up and down like he used to.

I'm not sure athlete is the word I'd use to describe Shaq
but he sure as hell had the size

I was lucky enough to see Shaq play many times as part of the Shaq Pack (or something like that). Anyway, perhaps the most impressive dunk was against Mcneese...it was a follow up dunk where he came through the lane, jumped over their forward (literally jumped over him) who I think was about 6'8" and dunked the ball. Also, crushed Shaun Bradley once...

At Cortana Mall in Dillard's with wife to be picking out wedding invitations. Look across the store and the tallest person I have ever seen comes strolling by. Shaq was only 17 then I think. Was thin compared to his later years at LSU and beyond. This is the ONLY reason I remember picking out wedding invites with my wife.

bullshite. Ali fought in the greatest heavyweight era of modern boxing. Ali, Frazier, Norton, Foreman, Jimmy Young, Shavers and more. The division was really deep with talented fighters. Klitchko has no competition, Ali would have beat any modern champ that's not named Tyson when Mike was in his prime.

What? What word would you use? Trust me, a guy that big running the floor has to be athletic as frick.

My 7-year-old son got a high 5 from Shaq as he left the court at the end of the Loyola-Marymount game.

Was the Mcneese game televised. I just remember a game against either them or SLU were he was off camera and came flying through the air like superman for a put back dunk.

1991 LSU played at UNLV in an early season game. A group of us made the trip. The night before the game Shaq got busted playing the slots in the casino. (have to be 21 to gamble- they just made him leave the casino)
But Shaq response was- I didn't think anyone would recognize me.
LSU lost the game with Shaq in foul trouble most of the second half.

Let's Talk About Shaq at LSU by MetryTyger
Picture this lineup:
Shaquille O'Neal
Stanley Roberts
Harold Boudreaux
Wayne Sims
Chris Jackson
Vernel Singleton
Maurice Williamson
My Gawd in heaven....
To be fair, I don't know how Shaq made it out of college alive - he was butchered, esp. in the SEC.
That team should have won it all

People get caught up in the stats for Wilt and Russell without realizing what the league was compared to the modern league.
Exactly. Wilt played in a league where the average hight was 6'5.
Russell was 6'9 and 220 lbs.
Durant is 6'10 and 240 lbs and is more athletic.

Shaq would have folded up Bill Russell, Wilt Chamberlain and Karreem like lawn chairs.
