Contract is not signed but he has informed Tennessee *after* their push he’s signing with LSU

We have a walk-on QB already for 4th string and probably won't need anyone amazing for 3rd string. It doesn't matter that much. Still have to secure QB1 but it's looking good there suddenly.

The only reason I see him *not* coming to LSU is if we manage to sign both Leavitt and Longstreet. I know people think we can’t get both of those but I could easily see Longstreet agreeing to develop for a year and take the reigns assuming Leavitt is a one-and-done, or even thinking he can win out over the injury.
If the QB room isn’t crowded overnight like it could become, this is just a better situation than the other three schools

This article is long but covers the same stuff Delly put out there on Twitter. However, Delly makes it sound like we are about to get the death penalty while Lane is out there pursuing a top QB with one of these deals, while the long form article makes no such implication. Very curious.

People in D2 circles don’t realize what a monster Ferris State became almost overnight. It’s easier and more fun to rip on good teams that get blown up in their war path and prop up some other teams that get lucky draws to go deep consistently
