The more dumb people you meet in positions of merit, the less appeal to authority compels.

Especially when you realize this is a team led by a RB coach and without a QBs coach on staff.

We get it - you don’t like Nuss.

Sorry he didn’t make time to sign your WalMart jersey and football.

Not sure what warranted that, but I’m an alumn so get fricked.

They want to know if they’ve fixed the core problems that affect everything if that will lead to Nuss returning to form which is the correct and obvious thing to do first. That needs to be corrected before you can determine if there are major problems elsewhere.

That he has better pocket presence?
I mean just small sample from this year.

It’s not a high bar, we are comparing him to a guy who routinely turns his back perpendicular to the line of scrimmage & runs toward his own endzone to avoid pressure.

I definitely don’t love him as a player and team leader. Not after seeing what he’s done/hasn’t done on the field. His abilities/talent appears limited plus I don’t see evidence of having what it takes between the ears, personality wise. He kinda comes across as a used car salesman when talking about football. I’m sure he’s a stand up kid and very smart otherwise.

That’s hyperbole and it ignores the dozens of times he’s escaped pressure to make plays. And again there’s no sample size to judge MVB on here. Making one play with his legs against Southeastern is not an absolute tell. If that were the case you could just point to Nuss’ 28 yard run vs Ole Miss to cancel that argument.

You need to see if competent Oline play and play calling has an overall effect on the offense before you make that change.

It’s funny how he’s tanked his own draft stock by coming back

I think he goes undrafted at this point. There has been no evidence this year of him being NFL ready. Sucks for him but that’s life when you fumble a massive opportunity like he has.

He has appeared more than vs southeastern, and their #0 gave us fits. He led a scoring drive against the same A&M defense that stifled Nuss on preceding drives — same personnel.

The spin move run back 10 yds is not hyperbolic, he does it all the time & has one of the worst pocket feels in recent memory.

He can stand in and deliver a pass taking a hit I will give him that, but this doesn’t count for much when every ball floats out your hands.

I could see this angle. Just don’t know where we are expecting the competent line play to come from. Hearing Curne is doubtful.

He doesn’t do it all the time though and it’s when he gets immediate pressure which is hard for anyone to escape from. If he did this all of the time he’d take a lot of sacks and he doesn’t.

I do. To many reports that he didnt take the off season seriously. While Jayden was flying out to California to actual QB schools, we have Nuss throwing footballs through basketball hoops at the Manning Passing Academy.

He didnt use VR, he didnt pass with WRs and TEs, screwed off at practice and just generally didnt take this seriously after making 3 Million in NIL.

Told yall it was over after he proposed.

There is a possible band aid for the Oline if they can simplify at least part of the scheme for them. What we do is very old hat where the Oline has to learn every play like a QB would but what a lot of newer offensive coaches are doing is they give the Oline a handful of schemes that cover everything so they can easily learn it and they don’t have to know every call in the book.

Yeah I get it that he doesn't deserve shite. It just sucks for us as fans that he was such a slacker and we had such high hopes for this season and it all went to shite. I don't see how that's funny but I guess I'm glad you are able to laugh about it.

Most of us don't anymore and he needs to self-bench himself for the good of the team.

Instead, he's going to go out there and get us in a hole that we won't be able to come back from. He's had his opportunity and didn't deliver.

I get the strong impression that hes the "do you know who my dad is " type. Definitely has some natural talent, but seems like he expects everything handed to him.
