Knights Inn should be condemned. I stayed there 2 years ago. But, then again, it is better than driving back to Montgomery. If I had to stay there again, I would probably sleep in the car and take a shower in the room. At minimum, bring a sleeping bag and pillow.

Super 8 is WAAAYYY better than the Knights Inn....

StanleyB is correct...the Knights Inn is right on par the Belmont or the Alamo on Florida Blvd...the place is scary...

you ought to go to TripAdvisor.com and read up on the hotels if you really want to know about them..

Have you ever been to Auburn? I'm pretty sure you don't know what to expect. It isn't that big of a town at all. It's not like Baton Rouge. I'm going to the game and booked a room in Montgomery, as will probably 95% of the LSU fanbase that is staying in a hotel overnight. It's gonna be you, some truck driver, Jose Chevar Rodriguez doing framework on a job in town, and Freddie Williams banging hos and selling rock next door to you.

Changed my reservations. I'm staying in Montgomery now. Thanks LSU and everyone else for the insight.

Dixon will have a few upper class LSU fans in it.

Heart of Auburn dump will likely have some too if they booked early enough.

I got two rooms at the Comfort Suites on the main drag. Not bad, and next to Waffle House.

I mean, it is a hotel in Auburn. You are paying a high price because of the location and the fact that it is one of a few hotels in Auburn. Don't expect anything too nice, it is (if I remember correctly) one of the nicer hotels compared to the rest, but that isn't saying much.

it is an older, but decent place to stay. Expect it to be hygenic but not classy and you'll be fine. $$$ is all for the convienent location, that's all....
