Yeah Saban flinched right there and it almost paid off but not quite.

..which tells me he will do 1 of two things:

1. Open it up (doubtful)
2. Play even MORE conservative.

Im going with option 2. He deffinitly went with option 2 for this game (Ex. Not even tryingto go for the win at the end of regulation)

Bama fans were calling for an ejection (or later suspension) for Mathieu on that play.

HB7 needs to return more and cover less. Break a TD off Dre this time

I love wen Verne and Gary talk about how close a spot is to the first down when its a good three yards away

And that penalty was bad but Kirkpatrick needs an oscar for that act

LOL. I've had a few try to use it here over the years. I'm not an Admin on that site, so there isn't much I can do about it. I didn't think I did THAT good of a photoshop job on it but it is mine.

I really should be sleeping. Damn television. I'm switching between this and LSU/Bama '07 on CST.

I dont see how they could have called much more than they did. But I still think HB7 tried to take a swing and missed, then their legs got crossed up.

The hit while illegal was not vicious. Dre hurt himself flopping LOL

Ware needs to play more FB as less RB in the future.

Ford, Hilliard and Blue have much better ability as a RB than Ware.

Why is Ware so ineffective?

After watching the replay, we took bama's best shot and won. Mccarron was solid. He kept the box unloaded.

I had not realied how much i believe we improved with minter and Hilliard becoming more comfortable on the field. Minter is now our best linebacker.

Michael Ford should have gotten the ball 20 times. Spencer Ware was awful. Matthieu didn't return punts because of the suspension.

We took their best punch. We sustained it. I don't think they can play another game like that in Nola. They're the same team we played on 11-5. Richardson is still a freak. Their defense is still outstanding.

In retrospect, I'd say they played slightly better than us. It's absurd to blame this game on case foster. Sranan should have punted.

Our offense was going nowhere quickly.

I originally thought bama would win a close game. After watching how well bama played on 11-5, I predict we'll win by at least 10. Mccarron will not play as well. He won't keep the box unloaded. He'll throw at least two picks. Jefferson will play his best game. Surprisingly, though, I believe we'll have a lot of success running the ball.

He looks to initiate contact, which is great if your name is Earl Campbell or Jim Brown.

I wonder if Ware doesn't have vision issues (obligatory "he was good until busted before auburn" reference?). He doesn't seem to see the holes that are around him most of the time since the Bama game, just running forward and not doing a lot more than that.

Man that option to Ford we ran in OT would have been perfect right there.
