Copeland was in position to block the only guy that could have gotten to 11

It would have been 1-on-1 with the outside guy, and I think Ware could have run him over.

HOWEVER, maybe Les told him to hit it up the middle and not bust it outside? We called TO with 2 seconds left. A run to the outside, stopped short, could have run the other 2 seconds off.

I really hope we don't try running inside too much

It all depends on if the rumors were true of Saban conditioning the shite out of his team over the last month.

Sure, you could pick up some quickness on shedding some fat, but you will also lose good size, and, with that, strength.

How will Bama make up for the lost edge from playing on the road?

The home field is non-stop and it's gone in the dome

ESPN keeps harping on Richardson having 167 total yards. He had 114 at the half. Just 53 in the second half. There were some busted assignments in the first half and they adjusted well. We don't get much credit for shutting him down

They are. We played a perfect game. If they hadn't made mistakes, they would have won. NOBODY beats Bama, except Bama.

Not complaining but I thought Saban was better than that...he got out coached.

Hard to adjust, when your players dont execute. especially mid drive.

That's a big key, IMO.

The Bama players are expecting 50/50, but it will be more like 60/40, at best for them in LSU's favor.

Also, it was 90/10 Bama fans on Nov 5th. How did that work out for them?

Richardson did nothing in the 2nd half besides his big run he made.

Is 167 yards shutting him down?

53 yards in the 2nd half, and 24 of that was on 1 play in the 4th.

There were times when JJ held on to the ball just a bit too long.

Id much rather him do this than panic and force a throw to get intercepted

114 of them came in one half. He had just 53 yards in the second half/OT. I'd say we made some damn fine adjustments at halftime and shut him down.

Bama had alot of emotion and edge with home field. On a nutral site, how can they be favored when they were met and bested in every phase of the game.
