Wisconsin goes on the road to M. State and loses on a Hail Flutie and gets bounced to 11.

Oklahomo gets bounced at Norman by this team ummm... Texas Tech I believe and goes to 9.

OOOOO Coaches really....
If Oklahoma played Wisconsin next week on a neutral site, who would you pick to win? Maybe this week was worse for UO, but they'd definitely be my pick and they have the same record. UO's beaten 2 ranked teams (FSU and UT), Wisconsin's beaten 1 (Nebraska). So while Wisconsin may have the "better" loss, I don't think they have the better resume and I think most would pick them to win head-to-head. Doesn't seem strange to keep them ahead.

Oklahoma and Wisconsin got 31+1 = 32 votes last week. Of those 32, LSU got 26 and Bama got 6.

Of course, we can whine about 6 votes that LSU did not get. Or that coaches poll preferred LSU 5:1 over Bama.

BCS ranking should be OK. WV lost to Syracuse costing LSU some points. Thankfully, Oregon is still holding serve.

It's a writer in CA, I saw his column last week but can't recall his name.

And he has USCw in the top 25.

Pretty sure I can make a better top 25 poll than this joker.

This is a perfect example of how to pull names out of a hat. I only feel sorry for AP having to deal with ballots like this. I am sure they are embarrassed, as is the Daily News.

I don't really blame Wolf for this mess. He's helpless. I blame the Daily News for allowing this to continue year after year after year. And why the AP doesn't step in here and strip this voter of this privilege is beyond comprehension.

Earth to the D. News editors -- are you alive?

Wolf needs to quit it. We get the point but there is not a person with half a brain who would put Boise in the LSU/Bama class.

I'm sure he'd claim some shite like, "well auburn has only lost to teams in the top 10." those 3 have beaten auburn by a combined 73 points though so clearly they don't belong near the top 10.

I don't see why not. What 1-loss team besides maybe Oregon would anyone pick against Oklahoma?
