bullshite, he would have been slidding into third. Tag would not have been in time, his mind was already made up to throw to first

He should have started his slide and went for his legs, at least make India jump to make the throw

Fielder has the right to the ball and to complete the play. Would have been interference has the runner made contact throughout the play. Had he missed the ball and made contact with the runner doing something else, it would have been obstruction and he would be ruled safe at the end of the play if he was thrown out.

3rd baseman was turned other direction. He couldn’t see the runner. He was coming up throwing.

At least Florida has more of a real lineup than the pile of .200 hitters they won with last year. New park in Omaha continues to reward teams like that though.
