So let me get this straight, you're annoyed because he doesn't come right out and say what possible infractions have been made?
Because that's what you would do?
He's the Head Coach. You are not.
You are a person that knows very little about what is going on. How does he end up "dodging" questions? He's keeping the privacy of the matter private. You really think he's going to just come right out and say whatever the case may be just because that's what you would do?

I am annoyed he doesn't come out and say "Our football team has not followed University rules, and these players are on my team, my staff recruited them, and have coached them, and I apologize for the negative attention it has brought LSU."

THE END- That's all I ask, and he hasn't done that throughout any of this BS Shepard, Jefferson, McCarthy, Ryan Baker, Terrance Toliver. NOT ONCE

This is such bs. How do you think the RS stuff came to light? Or the T-Bob DUI? Or the stuff with JJ?

He has said that exact statement you just stated. Maybe not verbatim but has done it. You can do a search on it.

Furthermore, why do you feel he has to explain what he does to you?

Laugh my fricking arse off. Apparently you've never publicly spoke, because if you had, you understand that the general public has a need to know basis of shite. Why would he air out dirty laundry for no reason? It looks bad for everyone, and shows potential recruits that Miles wouldn't be there for them in thick or thin.

He can still be there for them, but it doesn't mean he can admit wrongs. If a player expects Miles to think he's perfect then that's just not realistic. LSU already looks bad dude, apparently you have no balls to admit when you are wrong, and you probably keep trying to sneak around the truth. The truth is we screwed up before, we screwed up now, and someone needs to be accountable for this. The players are young and yeah they screw up, so who should it fall on then? How about the $4 million dollar man. If he wants to show them he really has their back, then take the blame Les.

bullshite, did you even hear his statement after the fight?

here they are since you obviously have a terrible memory
"I can tell you that the last couple of days have been miserable for us, that we've been involved in behavior that's unacceptable to me, certainly unacceptable to our team – guys that broke team rules and violated curfew," Miles said. "I can tell you and assure you that this will not happen again. I can tell you that there's a remorseful team here.

"I personally want to apologize for the actions of my team."

"We've started disciplining our team because this was a team violation," Miles said. "This was not just a guy. This was the team. We ran them and we're running them."

but he doesn't throw them under the bus because he's not a prick
"As miserable as I am about this, as disappointed and as mad, I recognize I've got a good group of men who understand the mistakes that were made and I suspect that they will make the appropriate changes," Miles said. "I will instruct them along those lines, I promise."

I think he owes everyone who supports LSU an explanation. All their money goes into his pockets, and he has to be the guy that steps up and is held accountable. I'm sure the players would appreciate that greatly.

La_birdman you are by far the most antagonistic person I have seen post. Aside from that, Les never points the finger at himself, merely says "well these guys screwed up, we've disciplined them, and I will try to change things so it won't happen again."

For what? Forget about the money stuff, that's immaterial.

An explanation for what?

I think the players have already appreciated what he's doing by keeping the matter private so people like yourself can't jump to even more conclusions.

well, that would be, um, against policy to disclose exactly what the players did in this case considering it's an internal team issue. and feel free to reread the above post again since you obviously are too stubborn to admit you're full of shite.

what about this do you not seem to grasp?

"I personally want to apologize for the actions of my team." - Les Miles after the Shady's Bar fight

are you insinuating he apologize for a fight he didn't participate in or apologizing on behalf of his team like he did? you're fighting a losing battle, bro, give it up

Call me what you want, I don't care what you think about me personally.

I'll refrain from posting my thoughts about you.
You're crying about this like these 3 guys just murdered somebody. What should he, Miles, apologize about?

If you don't like him, just say it. It's pretty obvious you don't care for the guy.

Who said anything about murder? Why do you want to put words into my mouth?

that les never apologizes for anything, which is factually untrue. a video and a quote sheet have been provided for reference, which you, for some reason, continue to ignore. why? i have no idea. saban is at alabama and les is going to be the coach here for a long time my man, get used to it. oh, and he doesn't owe you or the fans shite. his job is to win football games, not air all the teams dirty laundry in the media.

You are ranting and raving that he, Miles, should apologize. For what I have no idea. That's what I just asked.

The murder thing was a metaphor. I simply stated that because you are so adamant that he should issue an apology yet you can't even state what for. Can you?

a lot of people want it swept away, cus its not a big deal.

and yes we have cooperated with ncaa but this has nothing to do with the ncaa. this is a team matter and will be handled by the guy paid to handle it. And hes done a damn fine job since 05.
