I bet in actual average attendance its close when the basketball team has a product worth 2 fricks on the court. All those big numbers you hear at games (all 3 sports) are paid and not actual...

Thanks for correcting.

but is the exposure spread equally, I think not.

Like I said, we may make the same money as Kentucky in the TV deal but we don't get the exposure which equals one thing, MO MOMNEY!
It's comparable to Vanderbilt in football.
more people nationwide saw a regular season LSU basketball game this year than will see a regular season LSU baseball game this year I'd be willing to bet

That's the thing though, during the end of the Laval years when it was a given they would miss the postseason for the first time since the eighties, they were still drawing in modest crowds, I want to say they had an actaul average around 5,000.
As for basketball last season, did they get 5,000 in attendance in 3 games???

But more people will see a baseball postseason game than they did basketball game.

I saw actual for SEC games was 9,600 during good years. If you want to think that LSU baseball has more exposure than basketball does on a national scale buddy, then go right ahead dreaming. I'm ecstatic they are doing so well. I love it. But it means more when you compare your love for it to the right things.
Enjoy LSU baseball for what it is, the most dominant program in the country over the past 2 decades. But it takes away from your passion for it when you say unfounded things like "LSU Baseball make more money" and "baseball has more exposure" than the basketball team does. Its just plain not true.
And if you put a gun to Alleva's head and told him to drop one of the sports, he drop baseball before you finished the sentence. Thats just the reality of it man.

and thats all in the process of being corrected When LSU hoops is consistently in the tourny again, this silly exposure argument will look retarded because across the nation, the basketball tourny's rankings blow the baseball's out of the water.
And when exactly has LSU consistently been in the tourney since Dale retired??

they haven't. they also haven't had a coach like Trent Johnson ever.

never said this, said they outdraw.

No he would probably drop all title IX sports but that's beside the point.

You people need to have a beer and get laid. It is lame to argue for 4 pages over something like this. So everyone have a beer. You all made good points, but end this noobish argument and celebrate the good things LSU baseball has done.. and hope to celebrate good bball things in the future.
Drink up
Then slap your ole' lady on the arse and tell her it's game time

I will agree with that, but there is a lot of ground to make up.

Better than arguing on different ways we can get rid of Miles. I'm enjoying this, I like debating sports.

I will guarantee no other college team has anywhere near that good a record in their last 140 played.
LSU's winning percentage over those 140 games is 81.4%
Not sure what there record is over 140 games, but Arizona State's record over the last 3 years, (161 games) is:
49-13
51-14
31-3
That is an overall record of 131-30, which is a winning percentage of 81.4%.
That is the same wining percentage as LSU's 140 game streak, except over 161

Here is LSU with a future NBA talent (I think I see Collis Temple)
Plenty of available seats
When comparing basketball attendance for SEC games with baseball, don't forget to multiply the baseball attendance by 3, seeing that they play 3 games for a home series.

Since 2008 season, LSU is 137-42-1, over a 76% winning percentage.
Simply amazing.
Now if we don't repeat, let's fire PM!
