Screw all that "defend our coach" crap.
He is not defensible. We suck on offense. We are in a Zook like state of suspended mediocrity.
Les and LSU deserve all the ridicule the media can throw at us.

Personally I think Miles is an outstanding coach. He's just not a media happy kinda guy, which is fine. If you guys want "Hollywood", hire Pete Carrol or Lane Kiffin.
IMO Miles is torn between coaching fundamental, hard-hitting football and turning 18-22 year old kids into good men, as did his mentor and coach Bo Schembechler, to having to deal with crazy rantards like us on the internet and media idiots like Chris Low, ESPN's Herbstreit and CBS' Danielson (Gary knows football but he's still a media idiot).
Bottom line: some of you might not like the way Miles coaches but he gets winning results. I think a lot of you are just spoiled. Get over it. If you want a perfect coach, go do what Tennessee or Old Miss did and see how fast the LSU football program slides to the bottom of the SEC.

I support our coach and the damn-fine program he has put together at LSU. And I will support him even more when he replaced Crowton.

He's pulling wins out of his arse without a potent offense.
You mean he is getting lucky with wins that should be games that LSU won going away. C'mon! LSU is winning games in spite of Les on sheer talent and good defense.
quote:
We aren't some superstar-laden club. Yet somehow, we still keep winning a bunch more than we should.
LSU has more than enough talent to field a solid offense capable of executing and destroying most of the teams on the schedule. Unfortuanately, the offense is horrible. Why???
quote:
And that really ain't even the point. If you choose to agree with the talking heads on ESPN that Miles is an idiot with no right to any respect for his accomplishments past and present, you're embarrassing yourself by spitting on the guy who dared to speak up and say LSU is as good as it gets.
Saban never said it, not while USC was the talk of the town. Saban never said there was no place better to be at than LSU. Miles did.
All of this is nice, but letting everyone know how you feel isn't going to save you down the road when your coaching ability is called into question. All of those quotes from Les dont mean squat.
