It seems that the moment an individual or team is declared "unstoppable" in college football, they are defeated.

well, gosh darn it, as an lsu fan i am sooo honored to even be mentioned by the alabama media and populace.
aw, shucks, lsu is just a small country school surrounded by bayous and rivers.
we are doubly blessed to be able to play in the sec and to be able to play such great schools as auburn and alabama.
gal darn it, i even appreciate those alabama refs.
and geeze whiz, our coach has our players belivin' in miracles and all that stuff, sooo, we will just leave it in the hands of the almighty.

If Auburn cannot win against our defense it's gonna be a darn quiet stadium with a bunch of those crying freshman coeds. Not to mention a bunch of happy LSU Tigers!

Heard the same things back in 2003. Everyone in the media thought it would be a cakewalk for Auburn - turned out to be a cakewalk for LSU

excuse me...but, Cam Newton? If he was the man, a myth or a legend, would he really have been playing at Blinn Junior College last season? I know we do not send out the best quarterbacks in the SEC, but they are getting the job done. And while Cam Newton was running and throwing somewhere in bum f*ck Texas against division III competition at best, JJ and Lee were taking their lumps and bettering themselves in the best conference in college football. LSU wins 24-17!
