I would go back to Charley McClendon's "Walking I" and put Lee in and let him have at it.

Everyone knows that Lee is a better passer and Jefferson is a better runner and I can't believe that the coaches don't know that. I am not so sure that Lee can last a full game. He doesn't take hits well and it is very apparent he doesn't like to get hit (but then who does). Even though it looks like a cluster ****, maybe that is the best product we can put out there with these two guys and maybe the coaches know it.

Dude no coach, even the worst coach in the world has Joe Montana or Dan Marino on the sidelines and keeps him there.

There's a helluvalotta room between JJ/JL and Montana/Marino. The problem is there's also a helluvalotta room between JJ and JL, at least in game management and passing.

I have to give Lee a lot of credit. Anyone with the rational of a mildy retarded monkey knows that we are likely to pass when Lee is in the game and AU having the mental capacity of a mildy retarded monkey went after Lee everytime he was in the game and Lee stood in the pocket and delivered the best he could.

I would like to beat Bama with no offense. That would be awesome!

I realize that because it's been years since we've seen solid QB play, the quick slants to TT to us look like Manning picking apart an NFL defense. I must admit that I too was excited. Then I saw JL throw a pop fly off his backfoot for no good reason in the Tenn game. So yes 'sometimes.'

Lee's no Peyton Manning, but I think it's more than 'sometimes' that Lee throws a prettier pass than JJ.

Anyone defending Jefferson's passing at this point is delusional.

JJ could be a good QB if he learned how to pass. Most of his passes go high and behind the WR. Like his pass to Randle that was INT. He needs to practice leading WRs. He could do it if he tried every day..

both qb's have had plenty of practice and in game situations. there is no doubt JL has been better, but not fantastic. Really would like to see shep run the offense like newton ran. we all know he only needs a small crease to break free. would put pressure on the defense and open up everybody. he did it in high school and his videos were awesome. Would blow bama away if tried.
