questionable defense.

Please explain? Is thie based on the MSU game?

I think it's based on every game. We look good on defense, but inconsistent. We have some challenges that need to be worked on. We're good, but just not looking as lights out dominant as we have the past few years.

Everything is subjective, even when there are common opponents. Team a beating team b by 15 points, doesn't guarantee that team c will beat team b by 50 points, even though they beat team a by 35.

It's about matchups. So far LSU has shown weakness against two shitty offenses. I picked them to beat MSU 31-0. Giving up 24 points to that team was alarming. If they were tight on D last night then I would shrug off the sub par performance against Auburn's shitty offense.

Hopefully getting the 2 dts and Beckwith back will make everything better.

#19 in total defense is pretty questionable. Great observation.

We, on the other hand, although we've won, have struggled in doing so.

I wouldn't say we've struggled. Only the Auburn game was ever in doubt. We didn't look as sharp as many would have liked last night, but were you ever scared about the outcome of the game? I would say we haven't looked as dominant as we would have hoped we would.

Missouri has the best QB in the country, the best offense in the country, and a questionable defense.

Penn State has a better offense and a questionable defense

LSU would bet Penn State by two td's.Again against who???

Texas has a good offense and a proven QB, and a solid defense.

OK, stat boy, now give the national rank of the offenses that we "racked up" those stats against.

:omg:

Everyone is overrated right now, its September.

But since they insist on having polls in September, this one makes as much sense as any.

You're correct, poor choice of words on my part. I like your explanation better and it's more reflective of what we really saw.

App State is ranked #4 in total offense out of 118 FCS teams and would be #18 in the country in the FBS total offense rankings.

Just saying.

Total Offense

Wow. If James Madison, Jacksonville, and Presbyterian were 1A teams, you'd have a hell of a point.

Ok, 3 more to go.

I don't feel you're using the same criteria for the competition the offenses you mentioned above.

You question our offense even though we've face much stiffer defenses than the offenses you said were better than ours. I suppose you're the "anti-homer." You compare your team with different color glasses on than the other teams, only your glasses see dimly.
