A&M is a joke... I so wanted the Cap. Better team and a better bowl game. The only thing good about the Cotton is Jerry's World. Sucks we have to play A&M instead of a top 10 team.

Wrong Bowl!! Should have gone to Cap One. Very regional game. Won't have much national attention on this match up. Who gives a rat's tail about A&M except the weird people who went there?

You know, I get the whole A&M once-upon-a-time rivalry thing, but are we really paired up against the 4th or 5th best team in the weak BigXII?

How can being the only football game being played on Jan. 7th not have much national attention? The Cotton Bowl is no longer a Jan. 1 game. It's a spotlight game in prime-time.

Only game on Fox - gonna get TONS of hype. Prime time on Friday night with no other bowl at the same time. I like it

The upside to the Cap One is playing Michigan St., but playing at 11 AM on Jan. 1 won't garner much more national appeal than the Cotton stading alone on Jan. 7th. If the Cap One was moved to a later time, it would be more appealing from a marketing stand-point. Many fans of football in the country won't be waking up until about then after New Year's Eve night because of .
