IMO, that is one of the worst attributes of this board. The more post count, the more rep = Ya'll can do better. GEAUX TIGERS!! Through Thick and Thin

I certainly do not belong in that group. I think the higher your post count, the more years it took you to get your Bachelor's degree.

WOW!! It goes by HOW a TEAM may finish based on how god they are and who they face. Look at it this way. The ONLY schedule you need to worry about is LSU'S. GOT IT,.

My hope is at least 10-2. Anything less and I will be disappointed. I think we drop a lesser, like MSU or Ole Piss, and either Bama or Ar-Kansas. I would much rather lose to Bama than the pigs. We need to dominate that hog arse, they are way too cocky, imo. GEAUX TIGERS!! Through Thick and Thin

WE WILL beat Oregon.

BUT the key to this WHOLE season is The MISS ST. game on a THURS night IN Starkville. WVA I am NOT worried about. FLA and BAMA we should beat. ARKY is the key depending on where we stand AT that time. Its In TS. And IF we have a NC in front of us. LSU would KICK SOME SERIOUS arse. BUT THIS is all about THe O getting LONG drives to keep the D fresh throughout the season.

And thats what I am afraid will keep us from winning the NC this year. I hope I am wrong but I cant see us not tripping up somewhere with this brutal schedule.

BAMA has NOT had the same talent that LSU has had the last 5 years.

Bama has had 7 1st rd picks in the last 3 yrs.

That's a lot talent whether it's more or less than LSU or not and we haven't come close to having an HT RB.

When you think bout it, I don't know how we beat all that Bama talent last season. I guess it must have been the coaching, huh.

I believe the most devoted Miles acolytes are already laying a foundation to use the schedule as an excuse for failing to win either the SEC or the NC in 2011.

I respect the fact we have the balls to play top teams in other conferences. Can't say that for 85% of the sec

The fact that you think it is reasonable to EXPECT any team to win the NC or even the SEC in a given year shows that you don't really understand college football.

The chances of LSU winning the NC is no greater than 10%...and that is probably higher than anyone else.

Write this down...it's very tough to win a national championship.

But it is the best way to rank a schedule preseason.

No. I can't see how anyone could make that argument.

At the end of the season after the SEC championship game, PRE-SEASON RANKINGS will not factor into strength of schedule. If Oregon and West Virginia have a sub-500 year (not likely) it will hurt us. Strength of schedule was introduced to keep the USC's, Penn State's, Oklahoma's, Miami Fla's and Notre Dame's from getting the National Championship invite every year. IT WORKED, the SEC started getting invites due to strength of schedule inside conference (8-10 bowl teams) to the big game and haven't relented, so the powers that be reduced the influence of strength of schedule and put more power back into the hands of the AP (which at one point discontinued voting into the Championship equation after the Trojans didn't get the crystal ball). Now, AP is again part of the formula and strength of schedule doesn't really affect who goes to the title game anymore. That's why Boise State has no shot outside of the AP. Strength of schedule should be more of a factor than it currently is at this point.
