Not so sure any of those bars will let you in under 21. One of the previous posts recommended Bourbon St. Bar and I know that is popular with the younger crowd (it's on Broad St.), but you may need a fake id. I think there are a few other bars that let people in under 21, but not sure of those. Sorry could not be more hepful, I'm way over 21.
Someone also mentioned Copper Creek and Wild Wing Cafe, both good places to drink and get some food.

I'll give yall a little help since I'm a UGA student and go to every baseball game. As for parking, the main lot is directly behind the outfield, between the left field pole stretching all the way to about centerfield, where the lot meets the tennis complex. This parking will likely be very full and crowded and will require you getting there early. If you are in this lot looking in the complete opposite direction of the field, a few hundred yards in front of you is a parking deck. If you simply just want a place to park your car, the deck should be fine. Be warned though, I believe on Friday they will charge you a few bucks (since it's a school day), but I think Sat and Sun will be free to park in there.
If you guys all want to park together and get an LSU crowd formed, here's what you should do. There is a free dirt lot about a 2-4 minute walk from the field. This is kind of an overflow lot for people who get there late or whatever. If yall get there a few hours before gametime, the lot will probably be empty and yall can get a good crowd of folks together in there. To get there, just start in the main outfield lot, go away from the field pass the deck and you'll dead end into D.W. Brooks Drive. You'll see the dirt lot above you and to your right. Take a right and go in. If you're coming from a main part of campus, find Stegeman Coliseum which is on Carlton street. Get on Carlton Street going east and turn right on D.W. Brooks drive and follow above directions.
As for bars, you might stop in the Globe simply because Esquire rated it the #1 bar in America, but I wouldn't stay. It kinda sucks and it's not rowdy enough for LSU people. Bourbon street is known across campus as the freshman bar. If you're in there Friday night after the game or Saturday night, it will mostly be 18-20 year olds, if that's your thing. Two bars yall might like are On the Rocks and Generals. OTR has a good atmosphere but is smallish. A lot of UGA athletes and sorority girls hang out there. Generals is a deep south, old style antebellum bar. Peanuts, rocking chairs, confederate flags, and sweet tea and bourbon.
Boars head has plenty of size inside, pool and ping pong tables, and an outside deck with burgers and probably a band. Georgia Bar is a good place for the more laid back crowd. Pool table, good jukebox, patio. This is more of an older crowd and won't have the youngsters grinding all over the place, if that's what you're looking for.
I know this is a lot so I'll make a food post in a minute.

Here's a food post.
For Friday after the game, some good late night munchie spots to hit are LITTLE ITALY (by far my #1 choice) or the Grill. There's your standard Pita Pit or Five Guys, but everywhere has those. Little Italy is absolutely amazing. An enormous, bigger than the plate slice of pizza is about 1.60. Gigantic subs loaded to the brim are about 4.70. Pitchers of Bud Light are 4.55. This place is money any time of day. It's on Lumpkin street and Broad. The Grill is at College and Broad and is open 24 hours. Typical burgers and stuff, but if it's 3am I'm sure it's good.
Saturday afternoon for lunch you'll have more flexible options. Transmet is a nice Italian place on Clayton Street that is a little more upscale than LI. For a taste of home for yall, try Harry Bissets. It's a little pricey I think, but it's got all the authentic New Orleans stuff. Mellow Mushroom is always solid, I'm sure yall have been there before. For some of you nostalgia types, try Weaver D's. It was a favorite of REM in their college days, and even named an album after Weaver's famous saying which is on a sign in front of the door, "Automatic for the People". It's owned by an older black man and friends and you get their best. Either chicken, bbq, ribs, with your choice of collards, green beans, potatos, macaroni, etc. Good ole fashioned southern home cooking. It's not quite "downtown", but probably half a mile away. If you're in town, ask someone downtown how to get there.
As far as the bars though, there are about 50 in a 5 block radius, so you're bound to find something you like. If you go in somewhere and it sucks, just go next door. If any of yall have any more questions, feel free to ask.

To add to WG_Dawg recommendations:
All those places are good. Coming from Louisiana, I would not go to Harry Bissetts, save yourself for when you return home.
I also like Taco Stand, 5 Star Day Cafe for cheaper, easy, good meals. Both The Globe and Trappeze have good bar food.

Expanding on Danneel's post, if you are still around Sunday morning, hit 5 star day for breakfast. They have wonderful fresh, handmade breakfast that is delicious.

I'd recommend Taco Stand as well. Especially the buffalo chicken burrito.
And to whoever asked about bars letting in people under 21, most of the good bars are 21 and over. Sorry. And as the Georgia poster stated, Bourbon Street is usually packed on Friday night...with 18-20 year olds.

Where are you tailgating Sat?
Posted on 4/1/09 at 5:25 pm to Geauxtigers468
Not going to be able to make the Saturday game. I'll be on campus pretty much all day and night Friday but not really sure where. I'm going to the Friday and Sunday game with some UGA students and alumni but I'm going to get them to experience some LSU tailgating and try to get them to sit in LSU sections.
I'll try to find some people from here Friday.

I'll be at the Friday game with some UGA friends, getting in with my UGA ID ought to be interesting wearing a LSU shirt.
I would seriously wonder if you will be able to get in at all on just a student ID as the entire series is sold out. I am not sure they hold many student tickets when that is the case. Anyway, the last home series was packed solid and they stopped letting students in very early so you will probably need to get there very early to grab a ticket.
As for parking, I would not try to park anywhere but the deck before 5 PM on Friday as every one of those lots mentioned are restricted until that time. The campus popo will have no problems whatsoever writing tickets for LSU-tagged cars I would imagine. Hell, they have been ticketing the likes of George Foster and Matthew Stafford just across the street from Foley this Spring.
If you like beer- the Globe or Trappeze are your best bets. Otherwise, all the others are pretty much the same.
As for food, I personally love Farm 255, which can be pricey, and a new Mediterranean/Spanish restaurant called The National is good. If you want South American fare, don't even think about the Taco Stand which is merely adequate and walk over to Cali and Tito's (a block up from Foley Field and cash only)---awesome food and BYOB establishment. For lunch, Marti's at Midday has great sandwiches and Mama's Boy/Big City Bread both rock brunch.
Have fun and I truly hope you all leave fat and so unhappy....

Porterhouse Grill downtown on Broad St is about the best for steak. Another good place (not steak) near the field is Wow Wings in Five Points on Milledge. It is a sports bar atmosphere with tv, beer, wings and such.

Well can tickets be bought outside the stadium from people with extras cause I'm pretty sure there will be three in my group needing tickets.
