I understand that Alleva has said that the uniforms from last night were a one time thing, but is LSU going to switch to the new Pro Combat material? I had noticed that teams like Clemson, Pittsburgh and Arizona State had switched to the new stuff.

I liked the gold helmets, but that's about it. I hate the all white or predominantly white look. 
I would have liked them much better if they had purple pants or possibly the old gold pants. I do wish that we wore the purple jerseys more often otherwise.

The stripes on the pants were terrible. The stripes on the sleeves were terrible. The L on the left hip was terrible. The only positives were the helmet, gloves, and cleats.

My favorite part of the new uni was the old gold helmets.. LOVED 'EM!!

You are in the minority, the vast majority of people liked them - as did the players.

I'd be happy with keeping the uniforms we have now, but switching out the Goldenrod yellow for the Old Gold.

The pants with the wacky stripe wrapping around the leg were horrendous.
I thought the helmets were OK - but as the game went on, I found myself wanting to see our normal unis.
Good stuff for once a year.

I've been a huge LSU fan all my life but I gotta tell you, I'm tired of being asked by non-LSU fans, "if LSU is the P&G, why do they use yellow?"

I thought the helmets were great. I think adding the LSU decals to it made it alot more interesting than if they had left it all gold. Maybe an "L" would have been cool too. but i thought thye loked really good in person.

The crappy helmets looked like Notre Dame's. They looked good ??? They were horrible. LSU identity is the nice yellow (it ain't gold.)

Ya Boy! Dat's what I'm a talkin''bout! Dat's de uniform I been lookin' for. Similar to what we've had since the 70's, but with the Old Gold!
