Big issue with some of the newer engines that they are burning oil.

My sister has a Hyundai and it burns a few quarts in a month.

Change my own oil. Easy process, simple, and learn things about your vehicle.
---I used to do that too, but once---and once was all it took--I mis-threaded the plug. Lost the oil and the motor.

After buying a used motor I went to whatever legit oil place was around. If they mess up, it's on them to fix their mess.
