I think Chuckie described this year's team perfectly. It was different the last few years though, with almost all of the talent either on two players (Redick and Shelden) with no role players or spread amongst three guys who all played the exact same position.

if you go to the ncaa vault you can watch the duke, texas and ucla games in 2006.

still disappointed in some of those guys and how they just didn't seem to take it seriously enough. i go back to coaching, before the game they show behind the scenes looks at the teams preparing. you see howland and his staff point out that they need to double every ball screen and yada yada yada,they pan to LSU and they show brady watching film going 'durrrrr those ucla players have some funny names' i knew then we were screwed
tas pretty much was the only one who showed up. dmitch came to play but he was the focal point of ucla's defensive game plan, they trapped him and doubled him on every screen just like they said they would and davis was too busy falling all over the floor and tyrus never got into the game.temple played good D on aflalo but farmar had probably his best game of the season.
would love to have a mulligan but i doubt we'd have beaten florida in the next game anyway.

Double YEP! I know LSU had a few bad losses (utah & TX A&M), but to have the SEC champ seeded that low was total bullshite!!
They maybe make elite 8 last year with higher seeding. Oh well...
