The Austin trip was great! I joke about my 25 year exile in TX & tolerating the most obnoxious college football fans in America. Please know there is a lot of truth in my humor.
Austin is always a great time, despite the traffic. To leave with a W that night was worth all the bs those years. Back in NOLA most of the year, but still have TX license plates:

Too bad we didn’t get another shot at them last year. Not sure I will be around for the next time:-)

Had a good time....but it was very hot and it was a night game...Tailgating was very corporate and nothing but BBQ

Like some others said, the tailgate scene was lacking. We drank at Scholz Garden before the game.
Tickets were hard to come by. Saw nobody actually selling. I also paid a ticket scanner $100 per to let us in. Then we went and sat in the UT student section. They did not like us.
