What the frick does it even mean to not be satisfied as a fan? You say this as if you having higher standards makes one fricking bit of difference in the world. I'm sure the outcomes of future games hinge greatly on whether or not you are satisfied. Maybe if you cry harder and louder on the rant during the offseason we'll be better next year. Don't settle for second best!

What? Huh? Why do you appear to be confusing satisfaction and remedial action? My point was that Prominent seems happy and satisfied with the program even where we are clearly second best in the SEC West. I am not satisfied with that state of affairs. No one suggested that Prominent or I or anyone else here had control over the program.

I'm sorry, that will not be tolerated here. You are just "settling" for 10 wins and no hardware.

Just 1 short year ago, LSU was the best in the SEC. That's not second best

Bama was granted a miracle spot by chance. They got a mulligan and another chance. That time they just won the the second game of the season. 1-1 is tied. Last year was an anomaly and you're steadily crying about it.

I'd like you to tell me who would you like to take Miles spot to continue the success and recruiting and who would take his spot and win 3-4 national titles.

Thanks.

Regardless of what happened against the other scrubs we played, we lost to our two BIGGEST rivals this year. The only decent win this year's team got was against a&m. We were capable of accomplishing much more. No true fan can be happy with that.

I prefer the fans who mindlessly endorse all coaching decisions and resign the themselves to being second rate. They're so awesome.

Keep looking for 4 straight National Champioships pal. You'll be waiting forever, I promise you. Regardless of the fricking coach

Who does this?

The best fans are the ones who think everything is mutually exclusive. Like its not possible to be upset with a bad call here and there or that defending a 10 win season means resigning to being 2nd rate.

Yeah, um, when did I say four straight national championships? Oh, I didn't. But I do believe LSU can win multiple titles in a short period of time. (How about more than one title in eight years?) Obviously, it's possible, since Alabama just did it and may again. Or are you one of those poor souls who thinks that lil' old LSU is just inferior to big bad Bama and can never replicate their achievements? I think you may be. That's sad.

If we win our bowl the program will be 35-5 the last 3 years. 44-9 for this sr class. The worst team we've lost to over the last 4 years was 2009 Ole Miss who was 9-4. The other 8 teams we've lost to all won at least 10 games and 3, possibly 4 won the MC. If you are not satisfied with that, your standards are impossibly high and you will never be satisfied with anything.

Since Bear Bryant retired, Miami won 5 NC. Nebraska, Bama and Florida have won 3. That's the only teams to win more than LSU.

While we'd all like to be the best, being the 2nd best team in the best conference, behind only Bama with Saban is hardly something to be ashamed of.

You said dynasty. Do you know what a dynasty is? Your insinuations + your crawfshing are hilarious.

You love to insult everyone who is happy where LSU sits at the moment, coming off a National Championship appearance, while you have completely unrealistic expectations to go along with your pretentious attitude.

You have yet to tell us who would keep LSU at the level theyre at and to bring them to the NEXT level and bring them to 3-4 championships in the next 4-5 years.

Sure it's possible, but it's also difficult. You and a lot of other spoiled brats seem to think LSU plays in a vacuum. Lots of teams could win a NC. Fans of Fla, Bama, Texas, OU, USC, tOSU, FSU all think they should win titles and all have similar talent to LSU.

As you noted Bama has won 2 in 3 years. They could win 3 in 4. That's happened only once before. To date the only coach won 3 in 4 years is Tom Osborne at Nebraska. His first NC was in 1994, which was his 22nd year as HC at NU. I can only imagine what you would have said for all those years that Nebraska was happy and settling for 2nd best. It's rather comical to think if it was up to you a guy like Osborne would never have lasted.

Jacknut, there are many teams that are considered dynasties that didn't win FOUR consecutive NC's. Alabama will certainly be considered a dynasty if they win this year and they haven't won FOUR straight. Jesus. Just admit you invented the statement.

But let's get back to the point. Your psychosis is becoming clear: it's an inferiority complex. Even though FLorida and Bama both won two NC's in three years this decade, you don't think lil ole LSU can do it. You think lil ole LSU should be happy with its bowl game and its second place finishes, 'cause that's all that's feasible, right? You're a throwback to the old catastrophe syndrome days. Your scarred by the nineties. YOu just want the consistent mediocrity of Charlie Mac. I know your type.

So tell me, if Bama and Florida can win multiple titles in a short span, why can't LSU? Why? If it's not coaching, what intrinsic attribute holds LSU back?

2 national championship appearances in 4 years and 1 National Championship, 2 SEC championships.

I asked you about multiple NC's in a short period and you respond with non-sequitors about SEC titles.

I'll ask again: If Bama and Florida can two NC's in three years, why can't LSU? If it isn't a coaching delta, then what is the reason?

Just answer the question directly. Summon your courage.
