Miles never could have never made the improvement we see this year.

Damn, when I thought this tired thing was over with. This is the same thing that happened in 2012.

In 2012 the OL and passing game was off. We lost our best lineman and would have been top 2 round pick the first game of the season, and 2 more veterans during the season. In the second half of the season we played a true freshman, and a redshirt freshman, along with a true sophomore, on the OL. With the replacement of Jeremy Hill as a starter, and getting Beckham and Landry to cut down on the drops, the passing game improved significantly. After the bye week, Mett threw for at least 273 yards in the next 3 games each, and threw no less than 217 yards the rest of the regular season. Before the bye Mett averaged 202 yards per game with 7 TDs to 4 ints. For the month of November he averaged 267 yards per game with 4 TDs and 2 ints. Keep in mind that in the first half of the season we played North Texas, Idaho, and Towson, along with a 7-6 Washington team. Six of those 7 TDs came in those games.

If you're going to shite on Miles, do it for a good reason. Don't make up crap.

Saahdiq Charles has really impressed me. I think he will be a hell of a player

If we had those 4 players (plus several others) we beat Bama this year.

I was very critical of the line when they were struggling. At this point they are playing very well. Those men stepped up to the challenge. I really thought it was Grimes but now I am feeeling confident in the group

Grimes is considered one of the best oline coaches in the country for a reason.

yeah I was gonna say that this feels similar to the 2012 OL turnaround. though, there wasn't as much personnel turnover this time around. great job that year by Les and Stud.

and great job this year by Grimes. future looks bright with this group, even if we do lose Weathersby.
