Possibly. On the other hand if he produces like PM speculates he can, the young man could increase his payday by millions in one year. Very similar to the case of Brandon Larson who could have gone pro after Jr. college but opted instead to come to LSU, played one year and went in the first round in the '97 draft.

It costs a lot more than 2k a month to feed, house and educate a D1 athlete much less an LSU athlete.
If this kid is smart, he'll go to school and get some help from grandma and grandpa.
