I think that we can win 10, just like we did in 2006. That year we had three games we weren't expected to win. We won one of them. We'll be picked to lose at Auburn, at Florida, and hosting Georgia. We will win one of those three, at least. As long as we don't stumble any in the other 9 we should have another 10 win season.

i get what you are saying, but, it's alot tougher to beat the Bama, Miss. St., and South Carolina's than you make it out to be

IMO, anything less than 9-3 would be a disappointing year. I break it down this way: 4 non-conf. games are locks to win. OM, Bama,Ark, and MSU are all games we should win. Im not saying they're locks, but we should win those. Now, we have Auburn, SC,Fl,and UGA left -- assuming we win the games we're suppose to, I can tolerate going 1-3 vs. these teams. That puts us at 9-3 overall. If we go 7-1 vs. the "suppose to win" teams and 2-2 vs. au,sc,fl,uga, I'll take that too. Anything better = bonus, anything worst = disappointment.

I'm not on the bandwagon. With me saying I won't take no less than a 10 win season is because we have the team to do it. I know we have some hard games but every year we have hard games and we come through alright. Take it how you won't it, if your looking forward to lose 3 or 4 games thats your opinion but thats pretty shitty given the team and coaches we have. No fair weather fan here buddy.

I'm just going by experience, and rightfully so, we've been 10-2 or 9-2 alot in the recent past, but we also usually lose 1 game a year that we aren't supposed to. I try to figure that in every year. Like I said, I can see anywhere from 8-4 to 10-2. I expect to lose 2 of 3 with Florida, South Carolina, and Georgia. I could easily see us losing to either Bama or Auburn

i think we have too much talent to lose more than 2 games. If we had this exact same team with the same players but were located in a certain town in california we would be ranked in the top 3. Rivals has this unnamed team at no. 1 with a new quarterback ,4 new offensive lineman ,no above average receivers and a steady stable of running backs. To say we will lose only 1 game in reg season play is not a far reach imho.

Let me add this statement only holds true if our team stays healthy. I.E. last year during the kentucky and arkansas runs when we had a hobbling team.

All we have to do is 10 wins in regular season

You are aware that we only play 12 games? Don't get me wrong I'm not saying that you will definitely lose this bet, but you are looking at it as ALL WE HAVE TO DO is win 10 games instead of remembering that we are only allowed 2 losses, and we play Florida and Auburn on the road and Georgia and Bama, and don't forget games that can slip (no one predicted a loss to Kentucky and Arkansas in '07). There will be a few close games that sneak up on us. Ole Miss took us to overtime at our place 2 years ago. Do I think we will lose to them, absolutely not, but you just never know what team will step up on a given week.

I'm just throwing my opinion out there. We've had some damn good teams the past 3 years and have had one 1 loss regular season and two 2 loss regular seasons. Don't get me wrong, at work I've officially picked this team to go 11-3 with losses to UGA and Fl in the regular season and a loss to Fl in the SEC title game. I picked us to beat Wisconsin in the Capital One bowl. I think its fair to say that the QB spot could play a part in Miles having his first 3 loss season at LSU. Overall this team is very talented and may win the NC or play in the Sugar, or win the SEC. But, i expect to win the west and for me, anything less that 9-3 would be a disappointment.

You are a terrible fan. Anything less than 14-0 for me would be a disappointment.

Bottom line, I made a bet saying we win at least 10 games. I would disappointed if we don't win the NC game. Bottom Line

GEAUXDJ i think me and you are in the select few that don't think it is out of the question to make a return trip to the NC. We got an arse load of talent. No one in college football has a d-line and an o-line both in the top 2 in the nation. With everybody back on offense minus early who was absent most of last year, hester who was a warrior but i think we will be just as good without him, and really the only question mark is qb which we will be fine at. Our defense speaks for itself.

Right, we are only losing our #1 QB, #1 RB, and #1 Receiver

9 games would have been the smart bet. You took the risk here because 9-3 is the over and under for LSU in 09.

I stick by 10 wins and more this year, there is no reason not to think that we will go 9-3. Got to bring more that we "slipped off a little than last year"

then why'd you bet $100 on 10 wins?
