Agreed.. everyone needs to understand that this is a complete rebuild and Rome wasn't built in a day.

True enough, I also wonder if Aleva was concerned about there would be blowback about the creepy stuff it turned out Les was doing.

Expectations are why Orgeron was fired.

He was underperforming vs reasonable expectations, which is why he was fired.

Expectations are not a problem.

If they are unreasonable, they are. That is part of the reason Tennessee dropped off so fast and took so long to rebound.

I wasn't able to watch much Saturday but from what I read and the gamecast I was able to watch he seemed to be desperate and be out-classed and out-coached.

The longer Polian stays on the staff, the less I respect Brian Kelly as a coach.

I'll give him a season with whomever he wants before I pass judgment.

I mean we were 6-6 last year and easily could have been 7-5 or 8-4.

We should expect 8-4

I agree. I had them at 7-5 with 8-4 being my kind of homer pick. This fan base does a really bad job with managing expectations. Let me tell you too, next year isn't going to be great either. Another 7-8 win sort of season. Wait until people lose their mind over that.

Different team - different year - makes no sense to compare and gauge expectations!

Boy I have forgot more about football than you have ever known.

I'm sure your dumbass would have went for it on 4th and 10 at midfield, too.

You don't get powerful offense options like that. When you do, they make you pay.

Polians real value is he is a superior RECRUITER.

Super organized, keeps track of and maintains contact with Elite recruiting prospects in high schools nationwide.

As Nick Saban will tell you, the three most important things in NCAAF are

Recruiting, recruiting, recruiting.
