No matter how bad the team is, no coach in any sport is going to take recruiting advice from a fricking fan, nor should they.
If this kid is good enough, they'll know about him. In the mean time, know your role as a fan and shut your mouth

If I called Les Miles and said "Coach..I think I found the next Peyton Manning. He lives in Alaska, but would like to play for you." I think CLM would tell me to have a nice day.
You are a fan..not a scout, not that recruit, nor anyone respectable in the eyes of the staff obviously. If he wants on the team maybe he should show up to camp.

Exactly. Go to the LSU camp, send them highlight videos, have the coach contact PM, go to a regional showcase and get noticed.
There are plenty of other ways to get a schools attention besides a fan recommending him.

I'm sure the coaches don't get that many calls from random people saying they know a kid that is good enough to play at LSU. I can't possibly imagine why this call wasn't returned.
