The remaining games are all winnable, individually... what exactly is this supposed to mean?

It means that we aren't likely to run the table, but there isn't a game on our schedule we can't win, with some improvement at QB.

Believe it or not, I saw some improvement on the defensive front last night. They stopped a lot of plays at or near the line of scrimmage. That is encouraging, at least to me.

I'm not some blind, purple and gold glass wearing idiot.....I'm realistic. We have a lot of issues, and probably need a change there...but this is massive over-reaction by many on here....LSU is better than what they showed last night...by a lot.

How in the monkey hell was that Harris' fault?

I honestly don't like railing on a kid that is trying his best. But, what part of his game did you think was good? Going the wrong way on plays, taking off far too early out of the pocket, or throwing 10' over the rec's heads? He will get better, much better I believe, but he wasn't ready for than environment...no matter what he said pre-game....the stage was too big. He will grow from it.

Please explain your dumbass self more clearly.

Yes, I'm a complete dumbass because I'm not writing the team off.....what a fricking sorry arse fan I am right? Is that doing it right? I agree the play calling was not good.....I get that. However, there is more to it than your small mind can comprehend. Maybe there were other designed throws where he took off running. Maybe he doesn't know all the plays well enough yet. Maybe, the coaches realized how hyped/uptight he was and was trying to ease it in....maybe they saw him throwing 10' over the rec's heads, and were playing it conservative. I don't know man, but clearly, they have seen him in practice, and knew his issues....thus is why he hasn't been starting. All you experts on here is a joke. They got their arse kicked......and they are incredibly young with very inexperienced qb play.....they can and will definitely improve.....I'm not going to fkn sell out on this team...no matter what...you go ahead and do so if it makes your knee-jerking over-reacting azz happy.

OM will be just like MSU though.

I don't think their offense is even close to MSU's. Defense is better, but that game is at home, with hopefully will be against a very highly ranked Ole Miss team....they will get LSU's best shot.....LSU will have two more games to gain experience on offense.

But Bama isn't elite this year.

Their offense is highly overrated imo. Their secondary is not good. It was fun to watch Collins getting beaten so much. I think LSU has a shot against everyone left, and will not be more than single digit dog in any game.

We've had horrid defensive performances before where the defense at least held their own for part of the game

We were down 3 scores in the first quarter. The defense being on the field too long isn't a legit argument when they're down 17-0 in the first.

We haven't contended for 3 years,

Bullshite. In 2012 we were within a few seconds from potentially winning a national championship....the loss in the last seconds to bama.

Last year LSU contended...but didn't have the D. They lost last second to Georgia, at Georgia, when Georgia had all of its players. They lost a game to Ole Miss that they shouldn't have....Mett was wanting to win the Heisman that night, despite being able to run 10 yards a carry on Ole Miss. Alabama beat us. This year, we aren't good right now. Will improve. Judging by your post, I'd assume you have never seen a poor LSU team, or gone through it.....it's called spoiled.

LSU has looked like the worst team in the west so far. Maybe they aren't, but there isn't really any evidence of that other than wishful thinking.

This thread is going exactly how I thought it would.....a lot of young punks on here who know it all. You offering a cash bet over the internet....and you calling me a dumb frick. I wish this site would clean up POS's like you...seriously. You are the definition of what makes our fanbase pathetic.....you want to shite on someone that doesn't see it all doom and gloom like you.

17 out of the first 20 plays were runs. Yes, Harris had an issue throwing accurately but after 20 plays we were down 24-7. Sorry we were beings stomped before we even knew Harris was playing bad.

agreed...meant over the long run of the game....no way they could stay out there...we are thin enough as it is at DL.

Still puzzled at the Db's yesterday. Some very big passing plays that started the thing going south. Robinson was in perfect shape when he gave up that long td, I believe on a third down and fairly long......then the wr pass.....Mills seemed to be in perfect position....I thought the DL played OK against the run, for the most part, and the db's really let us down.

College football is big business and just like in any business someone making the kind of money Miles is, better put a winning product on the field. Any other business would already have shite canned him

I'm not taking up for the coaching. I'm just saying there were issues with him during the first 20 plays....going the wrong way on a 2nd and short.....fumbling 2nd and short...another play was a pass (at least 1) where he chose to take off running. Hey, he will improve...but I can somewhat see the coaches being conservative with him as it was CLEAR that was a very big stage for him.

a complete joke....ten years and the worst year 8 wins, played in 2 NC's and all kinds of other records...this is where you guys go off the deep end. If LSU struggles for a few years, then by all means, can the dude....The SEC is tough to win...ask Ole Miss, ask State, ask Arkansas, ask A&M...hell ask Alabama, this is Saban's 8th year, they will likely have 2 SEC Titles during that time...the same as LSU over the same period.

IDK man...maybe to realize their dream? Make some money? It's not like most haven't been successful....hell even shep made a team....Alfred blue....I mean come on man....it's unfortunate, but that is a lame thing to say.....these kids aren't leaving because they don't like Miles....grow up.

I know everybody has a opinion and that's cool but in the business world that is not how it works. Companies don't care about what you did five years ago it is what you are doing for me now. That is simply just good business

Ok, I ask again, why are they leaving? Ok, they love Les. Why are our solid players, not stars, solid players choosing to leave early and become undrafted free agents. Except for Shep, he pulled himself out of the draft.

In comparison to teams that are just as talented or more, we lose players and create these holes in our roster at an alarming rate.

So now LSU is at the point of moral victories. LSU should never get beat like they have this year no matter the rankings. Losing games is one thing but being embarrassed in both is something different.
