give the D some credit

Well they did only let MSU break one all time SEC record, so there’s that I guess?

Agree with all this. And if we improve a little every game watch out we will surprise some teams this year. We were inches or milliseconds away from some huge game changing plays on offense and defense. At this level that matters and is the difference.

Think we could have added 1+ interceptions and at least 3+PD
Sacks vs completions as well as the huge affect on the offense the time in the pocket the timing on routes t
Honestly was pretty upset with the WR catch radius some big time drops

There were times last year Joe would be in the collapsing pocket and get the ball knocked from his hand as he threw. LSU got lucky more than once with no turnover. Short memories.

No, no short memory. You're just flat out wrong.

Brennan has been in " Brady's " system for over a year. Looked terrible

And how much experience was surrounding him? He'll be fine

uh, no. When a team has top 5 recruiting classes for many years, it’s not a rebuild, it’s a reload.

We lost more talent and experience at important positions than any team in the history of college football. And that was before the opt outs and transfers and Stingley being out.

You simply do not reload from that.

He is a Les Miles holdover. Miles could neither recruit nor develop QBs. Can O develop Brennan? So far the answer is "no".

To be fair, LSU has been hurt more by the fakedemic than any other major program.

I agree QB is a problem

It may not be. Anyone following what happened last year wasn't going to be a plug and play.

We should give them some time....

4 years at the program, 2 in the offensive system. The intangibles that come along with the position are nonexistent, no poise, no confidence, and no ability. Expectations were that Brennan would be at least serviceable and know what he was doing. At least the basics...come on.

I would rather have no season than losing to a shitty Miss State football team... don’t care what happens the rest of the season. Losing to Miss State ruins the season.

This team, like the fans, believed Burrow, Helaire, Jefferson, Chase, and the other first round draft choices were the new normal. Last year all the pieces were in place as well as great experienced leaders. The pieces are there but they haven't jelled into their roles yet.
Hopefully that was a wake up for everyone.

I would rather loose every game this year---and our athletes learn how to play at that level for next year. Than no season. Its a free year--covid-year. none of it matters..
