Jim Mora Jr would be a badarse at LSU

He already recruits Texas well, and snagged Kenny Young out of John Curtis. Pro style guy that will sell recruits on preparing them for the NFL, much like Les does now.

Keep Frank Wilson, Corey Raymond, and Ed Orgeron and you're looking at a dynasty waiting to happen.

I second coach O, he had a,good defense at Ole poss but couldn't get the offense right he almost got kiffin to come but he backed out the last second. I think if coach O could get a good staff he would succeed at lsu

If les does stay all the way though his contact, you have to think a young hot shot names will be around and all the names we naming now might be ready to retire or might not be on top at the time.

At this given time I would be okay with Kirby Smart who was DB coach here back when Saban was here. Mora Jr. at UCLA. Jimbo Fisher. There are always up and coming coordinators who need a shot at a smaller school first. Just have to evaluate at that time

Not a fan, personally.

Also, he needs to prove himself beyond the Saban nest.

Kirby does need to prove himself. However he is the one coordinator I wouldn't mind jumping all the way up. He is waiting for a job to open up that is an upper level school but not an elite because they won't hire him.

He could replace Mark Richt.

I'm also interested to see what Frank Wilson does. Not that I see him at LSU in the near future but he could replace the replacement. But now we're in hypotheticals.

DC hire was big, but the replacement of CLM will determine if we remain as a top tier school or revert to mediocrity

A proven failure? What are you, nuts? Not only has this guy failed in his only head coach gig (interim doesn't count), he clearly does not have the skill set to be a head coach. Lastly, he's not even a coordinator.

Coach O has reached the pinnacle of his career - a position coach for a major university. He is an awesome motivator and recruiter, and let's face it, it doesn't take too much organizational ability to coach a position group and implement Steele's game plans.

Any promotion for O would be an example of the Peter Principal. With that said, I fully expect some stupid athletic director to do it. I'm not knocking him. He's done well, and his impressive earnings reflect that.

Please not Jimbo. When at LSU in big games, he did not play to win but not to lose.

Coach O. I'm thinking that was the deal. Help seal the LA borders, help Miles win a couple NC's, and then take over the helm for the long run.

Orgasm over this possibility, but thinking Miles stays too long and another job opens that takes him first, or he stays put where he is.
