Miles "nice guy" approach isn't working!

I would be interested in reading precisely how Les Miles approaches discipline frome an insider's point of view. You are an insider aren't you?
I would be interested is reading how you would apply tough measures.

They play hard for him on and off the field

I would be interested in reading how you see this is a sign of loss of control.
I would be interested in reading of your vast experience in controlling a hundred or so young men.

Please tell us.

I can completely understand why other sec fans think Lsu fans are a bunch of raving classes idiots, most of you are. If you don't agree with me fine post your opinion don't call names like a 3 year old. Everyone is a tough guy on here. Of course les didn't kick anyone but he needs to tighten the reigns or educate these guys on conduct, or assign a goddam chaperone to keep an eye on these guys so close to the biggest game in recent memory.

It's more like if you're at a school that's paying the coach 3.5 mill. a year, and you're ranked in the top 5 playing another top 5 on the biggest opening game stage, possibly ever... have 2 recent N/C under your belt, your opponent just played the last game of last year for the N/C; and, your SR QB gets in trouble.... you're going to hear about it everywhere over and over.

Other than that, it's breaking curfew and the illegal kick to the head... allegedly. It's poor leadership/judgment on the player, not systemic of a coach losing control of the program.

Many are calling these incidents isolated. But that's how it always starts.

The mettenberger/Montgomery incident swept under rug. Shepard Sitting. Willie lyles connection. Brawls.

Is there anything else? I think it's coming. If one of these disciplined players feels he has nothing to lose, we may have a situation.

When players turn on the "player's coach" things can get real ugly.

Yeah, last time I checked he was a coach, not a babysitter. If he was a babysitter LSU could pay him a whole hell of a lot less than they do.

Ridiculous. News Flash, the coach doesn't know where the players are most of the time at any program. It's not boot camp, at bowl games players are allowed to roam Bourbon Street during the week. This just calls attention to a particular situation and guess what? Players will still go out during the season.

Still does. A bar fight doesn't make a program dirty. Miles has suspended Jefferson indefinitely. What more do people want?

Please, become a Bama fan or something. LSU doesn't need fans like you and ignorance like this, we have enough already on the rant alone.

A chaperone? Seriously?

Biggest game in recent memory? Debatable.

You've absolutely lost your mind if you think that CLM has lost control of this team. These guys play their asses off for him. You can't blame the coach for a bar fight.

Where are your kids tonight? Gonna believe what that 18 year old tells ya? Dad, I haven't had a drink, as he passes out in the living room. Dad. I don't know Suzy. Can't tell ya why her Dad is calling. No clue how the fender was dented. Of course I was in class yesterday.
Now multiply that by 105.
Give me a break 08!

It's not just the Jefferson debacle look at sheppard, lyles, the self imposed sanctions from last year, the mettenberger montgomerey ordeal. The list keeps growing. My point is someone has got to have the reigns of this program. You can't hold players accountable to safeguard the reputation of the program. A coach has to have complete control of his program! If you think miles has control of this program your dead wrong. He does a better job with clock management. All this negative media is eroding the reputation of Lsu athletics. Player run ins are nothing new but a quality coach boots some players and sends a message. I would rather loose every game this year than go through another media circus like this.
