Repeat after me:
Nobody wants him. He is inept at clock management, has a 50-yr old offense and lies about making changes.
Nobody wants that massive ego at their school

I went the the Orange Bowl, UF Vs Maryland. It was Spurrier’s last Game as the HBC at UF. Anyway, Maryland fans were the most disgusting fans I’ve ever seen. They were totally disrespectful and they trashed the facility. Trash left everywhere and I saw several people pissing right out in the open.

I don’t think they have a very good college football culture there. I don’t think CLM would be a good fit there.

Well, this isn't anecdotal AT ALL, the idea that you can determine a coach's suitability for a job based on your isolated experience at a game in January 2002.

UMD has some good people as alumns, but their fan base at games is the worst I’ve ever seen. UVA folks were delighted for them to leave the ACC.

Yeah! Let's just change coordinators every fricking year! That'll give us stability and help our development of QB's....

E is here as long as O is here. E is doing a very good job. Welcome to reality.

LMAO. Every top notch head coach has a massive ego. It is more or less a job requirement. We can list a few --- Saban, Harbaugh Meyer, Smart, Muschamp, Herman, Leach, Riley, Bob Stoops, Mullen, Petrino, Franklin, Holgerson, etc etc etc.

It would certainly end a money drain for LSU.

How does that work. In the NFL, the owners are allowed to offset a fired head coaches salary, if he gets another job. I am not sure that works in college. LSU broke the contract by firing Miles, he is entitled to the remaining monies owed. Seems to me a new job just puts more money in his pocket.

Charlie Weis was fired by Notre Dame and Kansas then got paid every dollar owed by both schools. LINK

That's true but their schedule is back-loaded. Most of the tough games are still to be played. Maryland will be 6-6 at best and easily can finish 5-7.

I think Les to Maryland would be a great hire.

I thought Maryland is keeping the HC as of the other day.

They then fired him the next day after the backlash.

There's no way in the world Miles could work with Canada. Canada wants complete autonomy for his offense and that ain't happening with Miles.
